Well West is always tough. Dallas are very dangerous opponents for Hornets. Also poor Suns face Spurs in first round. Spurs, Suns, Lakers and Mavs in top 4 would have been delicious.

I think Rockets can win aginst Jazz. East is simple sailing for BC.

Im still not sure about the Celtics going all the way. Sure they have their big 3, but none of them have been there and done that when it comes to playoffs. They won't have that playoff experience like a team like the Spurs or Detroit. I think the Pistons are a good team to put money on if you want a bet out of the East. Don't underestimate them. Lakers got the top seed! Woo!

First time I saw Pierce he was lighting up Playoffs against 76ers and in final decider of their serie made about 30 points in first quater only.

KG has been good in playoffs as well. So I expect BC to do well.

Watching the Celtics-Hawks game as we speak. I must say Atlanta are nothing short of pathetic and they're making the Celtics look great. Anyway, I can see this Boston team making it to the finals, but I can't see them winning it.

My Dad won't stop going on about "the big boys from Boston won't win the finals because they lack the big-game experience", he says it everyday in his American accent and its annoying me!

I don't think a team needs to have been to the finals to win the ring.

Their team may not have been there but they have players who have. Sam Cassell springs to mind, with, I think, two championship rings.

Are you kidding me? The East is a cupcake league. Celtics are already in the finals. They're just waiting to see who they play.

That's not why I said that, I just don't think they have the bench strength to actually win a best of 7 against the best team from the wicked west.
I was actually replying to my Dad, not you, with that second line. ;)

@Mitch, not really, the Cavs aren't that bad...

Spurv Vs Celtic in final. If Celtics has NBAs most lucky mascot Robert Horry they would have won easily.

Still im with BC for win. Bring back glory days.

Surprised that Houston won a game at Utah! They're the only team to have beaten Utah twice at home this season. They'll need to do it again to be well and truly back in the series, though.

Mavs picking up an important win against the Hornets as well. They need to keep up that game and keep Chris Paul and David West quiet.

Spurs have been (sadly) dominating the Suns. D'Antoni has no answer for Parker and Duncan. It's quite disappointing.

Seconds game loss for Suns has dented the confidence of all Suns players. It took just 3rd quater coldness for Suns to loose entire series.

Suns pulled one back but Rockets and Mavs lost. :(

Also, anyone who thinks basketball is a non-contact sport can talk to my fractured eye socket.

Houston steamrolling Jazz but two of my favourite teams--Mavs and Suns--were knocked out today.

I'm particularly peeved at the Spurs. Parker is awesome but the rest of their team just flop too much (I actually agree with Shaq on this, surprise surprise!) and I think the Hack-a-Shaq move that Poppovich used was pathetic. This is one thing that makes me happy about the game of cricket---such clear violation of the spirit of the game would not go unpunished. I understand Hack-a-Shaq being used in the middle of an offensive play (for example, fouling Shaq before he has the chance to put the basket in) but fouling him off the ball is just pathetic.

You may be the champions, Spurs, but you still will earn no respect for your playing style.
