Yeah Champions sometimes do this. Never liked Spurs. Only watch them for Janobli and cos they sadly play best playoff basketball. BC will beat them this time though. You cant Haq a Shaq KG.

Celtics are having trouble with the Hawks. Gotta love Josh Smith--that guy is killing it for the Hawks. But if BC win that series it'll be hard to see them stopped since they will be all warmed up and intense.

I personally thing the Spurs will have a hard time against the Hornets. The Hornets won the regular season series 3-0, I think. If Houston get knocked out I will support one team: the team that is playing against the Spurs. ;)

man I cant understand all this hating against the Spurs. Their defense is amazing nobody can play it like they do and if the Spurs and Celtics meet in the finals I still give the edge to the Spurs. They both have 3 big stars and they are as evenly matched as they can be, Duncan=KG, Manu=PP, Parker=Allen. So the one that wins is the one that plays better defense and nobody does it better than the Spurs and the Spurs have the playoff experience and better bench players.

I want the Hornets to win it because of Peja, I am so glad that they eliminated Dallas because there isn't a player in the NBA that I hate more than Dirk. Also the Mavs owner Cuban is one of the most annoying people on earth.

I have explained my disgust for the Spurs in one of my previous posts, why don't you respond them instead of glorifying the Spurs? Do you call Hack-a-Shaq basketball? I thought basketball was about making passes, plays and getting the ball in the basket. By fouling the opposition's worst free throw shooter, all the Spurs were doing were showing that they were scared of defending the Suns.

As for their defense, they fall over way too easily. Ginobili is the guiltiest there, but it looks like he is infecting his teammates with that illness as well. Luckily the refs have been more proactive in ignoring diving, and hopefully they start handing out technical fouls for it as well. Ironic, isn't it, that all the teams with a high European concentration have started diving? Ginobili, Parker, and Oberto for the Spurs; Kirilenko for the Jazz; Dirk for the Mavs to a certain degree; etc...

That's kind of like my hatred for Tim Duncan. As for Peja, love him. I miss the old Sacramento team: Bibby, Christie, Webber, Stojakovic.

Add Bobby Jackson, Hiedo Turkuglo and flop master Vlade Divac. That Sacramento Kings team was awesome. :hpraise

Spurs aren't the 1st team to use the hack a shaq, iv got no problem with them doing it because it doesn't say anywhere that they cant. Is the rule flawed, yes it is. I always said that the rule where you can foul a player when he doesn't have the ball is stupid and should be changed but the Spurs aren't breaking the rules. The Suns shot them selves in the foot when they made that trade, they got Shaq to stop the big guys in the west and Duncan tore him a new one.
And I was referring to everyone hating the Spurs because they play fundamental basketball. Everyone loves to see the Nuggets play ball because they are flashy with allot of dunks but look where that got them, swept 4-0 in the 1st round. Fundamentals always win the ball game.

As for the Kings, too bad Webber ruined that entire thing for them. When he was injured and the Kings got Brad Miller and it was Divac,Miller,Peja,Christie and Bibby with a kick a$$ bench they had the best record in the NBA but when Webber came back and Miller went to them bench they lost their chemistry and couldn't win it. I really believe that if Webber was out for the entire year the Kings would have won the championship.

I want this to be Kings line uo next season

Yao Ming (Center)
Dirk Norwitzki (PF)
Paul Pierce (SF)
King James (SG)
Chris Paul (PG)

Exactly my point when I said: "This is one thing that makes me happy about the game of cricket---such clear violation of the spirit of the game would not go unpunished. I understand Hack-a-Shaq being used in the middle of an offensive play (for example, fouling Shaq before he has the chance to put the basket in) but fouling him off the ball is just pathetic." I know it's not in the rulebook but there is no understanding of sportsmanship in the Spurs. Any other team would not have done what they did because other teams respect the crowd.

Time to wake up and have some cereal.

if the pistons win tonight i cant see the magic comeing back from 2-0 down!, really fancy the lakers to get through as well, not sure about the celtics and the cavs, tat could be a good series! and the less said about the hornets the better cause they always cost me money in vbookie, not matter if i bet for them or against!

i fancy the celtics tonihgt, looking at it i agree with you sohum, top 2 seeds in both conference will make it to the final 4

Lakers Vs Celtics in finals.

All Hail Kobe for MVP. But KG will be MVP in Finals.

Are you forgetting all the teams that did it in the past sid.??

I don't know Sid, Lebron had probably the worst game of his career and they only lost by a few points. If he can get going the Celtics might be in trouble after all they struggled against the Hawks. But i don't want Cleavland to win, I don't really have any favs in the east.

If the Celtics make it to the finals, they will lose to the Lake show.

They will lose to whoever makes it from the West, if by some act of Satan the Lakers don't go

Although I think Celtics are going to make this tonight against Cavaliers.
as Celtics have won 35 games out of 41 at home.

Awesome game today. Saw third quater while eating my breakfast but sadly had to leave for work. :(

Hornets are buzzing with confidence. Spurs were lucky today. But similar thing happened with Suns. They let Spurs come in third game and next thing Suns were no match for them after that.

BC thumped Cavs. Should be easy 4-0 for them.
