Listen to tracks on previous albums like Yes Please, Stockholm Syndrome, Assassin, Micro Cuts etc and say that they are indie, or near soft rock

I'll say it again, Muse aren't Indie. Now you can be silly and keep saying that they are but you'd only be fooling yourself.

Look at their description on any music site.

Indie are bands like Razorlight and Arctic Monkeys, if you think that Muse sound anything like these bands - which incidently are also class - then you have very little grasp on the music industry.

DJ, ive actually listen to thier newest album, as i didnt want to say they were crap without having proof of it, and i have to say they are Indie.....There isnt any other way out of it, they're Indie through and through.

@Matt, Muse are very similar to those bands you said, they are Indie.

If they aren't Indie then what catagory do they fit into then?

Simon, your making a fool of yourself here. My Chemical Romance and Lost Prophets are close to Indie than Muse and they are nowhere near Indie! I know you don't like Muse, but why make a fool out of yourself over something your completley wrong with?

Well its my opinion, and many others i know and have spoke to that say Muse are Indie. I dont like Indie music, but like i say, everyone is entitled to thier own opinion.

Ok here it goes, having seeing them live and Matt will back me up on this, Muse are a rock band who sell out everywhere they go, and they've done it on several tours.

Also, I like a few songs from C2K7 trax. Cycle by Trap 6, Monster - by Headland, Problems by Push to talk are the ones I really like. Worth a listen. I extracted them out of the audio folder and converted them to mp3.
