Ok, Wikipedia, as known to many is quite a reliable source, so this is what they say, they partly back me up, but Muse "are so much more" apperently :

Their idiosyncratic style is a blend of indie, electronica, prog rock, heavy metal and classical music.

I took the time to bold the main point im trying to get across, although i still dont agree with Heavy Metal, but i cant win them all.
