Bushrangers openers Michael Klinger and Brad Hodge made a good start with 50 run stand, but Hodge was given lbw and three runs and eight balls later, Klinger was caught behind of Manou of Peter George. Dan Christian (none for 6) was called back into the attack by Manou and his medium right-armers got the better of Finch and White. Finch (1 off 10) who edged to Manou behind the stumps. Hussey (49), McDonald (35) and Quiney (39) then made a good contribution to help Bushrangers to a decent total, but the result was Redback who had won the match by 6 wickets.

2nd Match -Queensland Bulls against The Tasmanian Tigers at Woolloongabba, Brisbane.

Simpson has helped Queensland to its first Fordranger Cup win at the Gabba, beating Tasmania by 42 runs. Simpons Making 67 with the bat and taking 3 for 38 off seven overs. Chasing the huge total of 285, The opener Dighton walked down the pitch to pull delightfully over mid wicket, bringing up the first six of the Tassie's innings late in the third over. Kruger (1 for 6) broke through for Bulls snaring Paine (1 off 2) in the forth over. Travis Birt (7 off 12) was the nest to fall trying to hit over mid off, Harris steadied to take an easy catch. then Cowan (28 off 32) was either goes followed by Bailey (8 off 16) who was rattled by a short delivery, the ball bounces off his helmet and staight to the wicket keeper to leave Tasmania 5 for 178. Butterworth's 67 was the best of the day but it wasn't quite best day for them lossing the game by 42 runs.

3rd Match - Western Warriors against The DEC Victoria Bushrangers.

The Western Warriors have lost by six wickets in a tight encounter against the DEC Victoria Bushrangers at Western Australia Cricket Association Ground, Perth. After warriors' Shaun Marsh made his second half-century in the Fordranger Cup, Bushrangers' Hodge's knock of 74 not out was enough to guide his side home with 37 balls to spare. North again won the toss and for the second time, he had elected to bat. Voges, who made a duck aganist the Blues, was again a poor game for this guy. Marsh's second half century of the series and some late hitting from Johnson pushed warriors' to 6 for 258. In reply, Victoria were in control at none for 47 midway thorugh the seventh over, but in what has been trend in the Top End Challenge, multiple wickets fell in an over. But was a good recover from Hodge (54) and Dussey (52), and the pair guided the Bushrangers to their first win.

4th Match - Westend Redbacks against The Queensland Bulls

Tom Cooper and Graham Manou centuries helped the Redbacks' for a big win over the Bulls. This pair really frustrated the bowlers, they made 197 run stand for the fifth wicket. Tom Cooper batting at #4 compiled a solid 104 off 118 balls, including seven fours and three sixes. In even better news, Manou scored 101 off 103 balls. Callum Ferguson made a quick fire off 25 off 13 balls, and the Redbacks made 310 with the loss of 6 wicket in their 50 overs. Then the Bulls came up to bat, and the Redbacks bowlers then made a pretty good start on the quick pitch, with Shaun Tait (2 for 13) and Tim Lang taking (1 for 19.) Then Aaron O'Brien with a tidy spell (2 for 28 off six overs.) Then Reardon and Symonds started to rebuild the Bulls innings. However, a needless run out undermined Bulls' efforts with score on 227. Bulls wicket keeper Chris Hartley struck half-century and his side's 250 with 5 overs remaining. then the old story, they lost couple of wickets in the same over and removed Cutting the #11 to leave Redbacks on the brink of victory.

Your presentation excellent, especially the scoreboard and the point table made the upgrade impressive. Good work though. :)

so, for missing the full-stop, you have to say improve the english? if it wouldn't make any sense then you have to say improve the english.

ignore him.

Sheffield+Shield+Blues+v+Tigers+Day+2+RT5WiAQnLgHl.jpg

Mark Cameron and Stuart Clark are set to make a welcome return to the bowling line-up. Clarke will return from Australian duties and Haddin had been taken rest so, it means Daniel Smith ro resume Shield duties. They even made some changes. The team will be on the road for the remaining fortnight of the domestic season.

Blues produced a valiant fightback against the Tasmanian Tigers at SCG. After Stuart Clark completed his first five-wicket haul in this season to bowl out The Tasmanian Tigers for 301, half-centuries from Ed Cowan, Travis Birt, captain Bailey and Paine helped the visitors who had bowled out for 301 in their first innings.

Having arrived at the crease in the morning, Tassie's were on trouble, early loss of the both openers and Ed Cowan, the 28-year-old belted seven boundaries on the way to his half-century and his second if the season. Cowan combined with Coyle to post Tasmania's third wicket stand of 58. while Coyle hit 35, including four boundaries, before falling to Clark.

Cowan and the captain Bailey took the visitors to three for 120 at lunch. Resuming on 120, the Tasmanian Tigers batsmen Bailey and Cowan showed great reslove throughout much of the second session to churn fourth wicket stand worth 84 in 28 overs. it took just 69 deliveries to bring up his fifty. Bailey's fifty took 104 balls to compile.

He was out in the second overs off Henriques, when he tickled one though Katich. Wells settled for a preiod of denfence and needed 24 balls to get off the make with a single into the off side. after facing 56 deliveries in 35 minutes, he was palpably leg before to Clark. Wells' depart's to leave the Tasmanian Tigers to four for 192.

English allrounder Dimitri Mascarenhas did his utmost accelerate the scoring rate with four boundaries in a cameo 39 until he fell lbw to Starc. Pace bowlers Clark and Starc set the tone for the Blues, scything through Tassie's openers and the middle order. then Bailey was the man to fall who was caught behind by Smith off O'Keefe.

Birt was given a life with his score on 34 when Jaques grassed a tough chance at third slip off Cameron. 123 run stand between Birt and Tim Paine was the Tassie's best partnership of there first innings. Birt was given excellent support by Paine, who reached his fifty off 97 balls and looked in little trouble until suddenly chipping an easy catch to cover off Clarke on 75.

It brought to an end of seventh wicket stand of 123, and when the umpires called for tea, Tassies were loss of six wicket from 65 overs with 283 runs. The tailender provided some resistance with a stand of 32 and Paine was caught behind by Smith trying to cut left-arm spinner Clarke. Smith took 5 catches and The Tassie's were all out for 301 on the day one.

Top & lower order litterally collapsed I guess. That 123 runs stand really helped to get a decent score of 300+. Keep up the neat works.

Mate, can you give the scorecard and bowling card after a match or update?

Nice improvement in writing and presentation, Aussieteam. Still few grammar mistakes but the good thing is that you are writing this story on your own now. :)

7th wicket stand of 123 was a really important one for Tasmania. That partnership helped Tasmania to make 300+ score. It will interesting to see how NSW bat.

Pretty good start by the Tasmanian Tigers, but they struggle early. The seventh wicket stand of 123 made them a decent total. Blues' Clark had done some tricks to get his first 5 wicket haul in this series. and a way top class innings from Birt. great work with your writing and either the presentation. :)

Sheffield+Shield+Blues+v+Tigers+Day+4+0R-oGdPcGlNl.jpg

Once, Blues bowled out the visitors for 301 after winning the toss. Bules' openers Phil Jaques and the captain Simon Katich had so such trouble with the pitch, however, as they launced the reply with 173-run stand in 42 overs. Blues' captain Simon Katich hit an unbeaten 128 not out deeped thier misery as the home team racked up none for 218.

Having looked comfortable at 218, Jaques fell for 78 in damaging first spell by Ben Hilfenhaus. rain stopped play 16 overs in the morning session. Shortly after the restart, they lost two wickets, including Clarke, while adding 11 runs in 16.5 overs with Ben Rohrer trapped Xavier Doherty lbw for 18, but Katich went on to pass his preivous highest score at this ground of 163.

Katich led from the front with 12 fours and one huge six, with able support from Phil Jaques, who made 78, before Tasmanian Tigers' bowler Ben Hifenhaus. after losing 16 overs to rain, spectators arriving at the ground for the start of second session of the second day, they lost two wickets.

Katich, having driven MacDonald to the point boundary to move towards 80's. Moises Henriques came in at 226 for three and got off the mark first ball with a shot through the covers for a couple. He was lucky to escape an lbw appeal off Brett Geeves from the delivery, but did fall to Ben in similar fashion for 21 in his sventh over, before Xavier Doherty and MacDonald picking a wicket. however, Katich reached his first century in Weet-Bix Sheffield Shield.

Dimitri Mascarenhas then removed Usman Khawaja with a slower ball. The seamers gaining assistance form the cloud cover, Doherty and Drew polised off the next two Blues wickets in the space of 34 deliveries. Katich completed a magnificent 143 off 231 balls by hitting 18 fours, but he was to add just two more runs before departing to Drew, superb caught by the keeper Paine, driving towards left. Smith had made 27 when he was undone by a lifter from Doherty, which resulted in a caught for Mascarenhaus.

Tasmania's Doherty, MacDonald, Ben and Mascarenhaus shared 6 wickets as Blue scored quickly but lost batsmen regularly. captain Katich top-scored with 143 and only a wagging tail and the middle order boosted the total. Shane Watson (53), Stephen O?Keefe (38), Mark Cameron (29), Josh Hazlewood (18) and Nathan Bracken (12 no) added 136 for the last four wickets. Blues reached 342, Watson hitting swaggering 53 from 42 balls that featured six fours and three sixes and O'Keefe adding a rapid 38.

Man, Your presentation and writing are awesome. that opening partnership gave them confidence with 210 for none. I haven't seen the tail enders how added 136 runs, 'wow' that is awesome, and quite sure which place was Watson batting at.

I am sure that those tailenders have enjoyed more than thinking about pressure situations ;) Hence the outcome - 100+ runs in the bottom. Definitely, an irritating one for the bowlers.

Mascarenhas gives Tasmania hope

Nottingham+v+Hampshire+LV+County+Championship+ST2HMDmc37cl.jpg

Blues this morning all out in their second innings on 342, and they made swift inroads into the Tasmania's batting as Cameron and Bracken took 3 wickets. Tasmanian Tigers began the day 376 ahead, to stand a chance of an unlikely win. The opener Dighton advanced the score to 50 before misjudging the line of a delivery of Cameron to be plumb lbw shouldering arms for 32.

Cameron picked up his second wicket of the innings when he squared up Ed Cowan to find the edge and provide wicketkeeper Smith with a comfortable catch. Coyle had his off stump uprooted 16 balls later to leave Tasmania for three for 63.

A stand of 103 in 21 overs between Bailey and Wells settled Tassies nerves and when Wells, who supported Bailey, missed his leg stump to try and cut the left-arm spinner O'Keefe but was undone by turning delivery which he could only edge into his pads. Bailey sprovided some stern resistance with 63, while Wells hit 43 and Birt 41 not out as the Tasmanian Tiger were four for 173 at lunch.

Heavy rain followed by lunch at sydeny put paid to the entire second session but umpires finally decreed that play could get under way at 3.13 pm with the loss of 25 overs. Resuming on four for 173, Bailey played solidly (as the the situation dictated) but was strong against the full lenght as he hit 11 boundaries to make his way to 80s.

Although Birt was patient, he was one to fall in the aftersoon session to Cameron, who claimed 3 for 25. Bailey finished with an unbeaten 109, made off 173 balls with 14 boundaries and a six, before falling to Hazlewood. The seventh wicket stand of 105 between Dimitri Mascarenhas, who made 54 and Paine, 51 was an inoressive day as they made six for 352 with a session remaining.

Mascarenhas and Paine remained defiant. Dimitri Mascarenhas reaching 54 off 82 balls with seven fours. Paine played across the line of a Watson off cutter to go leg before for 63 ( he didn't hi a boundary off the 74 balls he faced) leaving Tasmania for seven for 387 leading by 11.

Mascarenhas, perhaps not surprisingly, played the most attacking inningsof the day. he hit 12 fours and 5 sixes in his 76 off 92 balls. the visitors seized the initiative when Mascarenhas and Geeves put on 64 more runs. Mascarenhas unbeaten with 129, was the batsmen to make significant progress.

He had some luck, but he was caught behind of Watson to pick his second wicket. even though, the tail enders never give up, but at the end the Tasmanian Tigers were all out for 542 with a lead of 273.
