The Book Thread

I recently read "Room" from Emma Donoghue. Simply fantastic. @Varun you should definetely try it.

I read "Lord of the Flies" by Sir William Golding.

The Hero with a thousand faces - Joesph Campbell. Although I must say I'm aware of the valid criticism in the way the book focuses on mainly the masculine mythological journey - Lest I provoke the wrath of Caz!

You will but then I'm not a ball breaker...? Yet.

Bought "The Unquiet Ones : A History of Pakistan Cricket" by Osman Samiuddin. Looking forward to read it when it arrives.

I'm now juggling between hero with a thousand faces and 'Roadside Picnic' - the short story the Stalker film(1979) and S.T.A.L.K.E.R game series was based upon. Its a cracking sci-fi read!

I'm currently reading America unchained by Dave Gorman. Just love his writing style.
