Good Morning ladies and gentleman. I'm your host Aamir bringing you live coverage of India A and Green Goblins. The warmest welcome to you for another encounter in this season. India A and Green Goblins get head-to-head in the oldest form of cricket, yes the Test Cricket. It'll test the skills and temprament of the players from both the sides, and the better performer will end up victorious.

The pitch is well balanced. It'll have good bounce and the ball will come on to the bat nicely. At the start the seam bowlers will have some seam movement and the batsmen will have to be careful for the first hour. And as the game progresses the foot marks will be helpful to the spinners and life will be difficult in 4th innings for the batsmen.

Look at that. A bright sunny day. The weather out here is just perfect. And capacity crowd turning out to witness an interesting encounter. The players will have to face the scorching sun and the rising mercury, other than that its a perfect encompassment for cricket and we'll look forward to a good game.

Lets join the two captains for the toss. The Goblin Captain has called rightly and has no hesistation in batting first. Batting last on this track won't be easy and will the toss play crucial role in this test, is it an early advantage to the Goblins, lets wait and watch.

The Goblins were watchful at the start, they knew that the ball will swing early on Day 1, and the Indian seamers were bang on target. The openers started carefully but lost lost their concentration and ended up loosing their wickets. At the lunch's break the Goblins are 88/2.

This session is more crucial for the batsmen. Its time of the day when bastmen can nudge easy singles and doubles and some odd boundaries. Tarzan and DJ Ager knew exactly what to do. They kept themselves quite and kept on rotating strike. This Day 1 pitch has nothing in it for the spinners and both the batsmen took the attack to them. The partnership was going strong until DJ Ager got frustrated by Piyush Chawla. He was batting nicely on 46 when he decided to bring his fifty in style and tried attacking Chawla who saw him coming down the track and followed him. DJ Ager mis-timed the shot and ended up hitting the ball in the hands of D. Karthik. And the partnership of 105 runs, comes to an end. Whereas ath the other end, Tarzan plays safe and reaches his fifty with ease.
And now its time for the players and umpires to have a tea break. At tea the Goblins are 182-3

The last session turned out to be the best for the Goblins, no wicket to fall. The India A bowlers tried every trick in the book but the Goblin batsmen stood hard at the crease. Tarzan and Shaheer showed lots of determination and with their experience they had put up an unbeaten partnership of 101 so far... Shaheer scored the major of the runs and remained unbeaten at 56 whereas Tarzan added another milestone to his name in the form of a brilliant century and remained unbeaten at 112.

The India A bowlers were relieved to see the umpires taking the bails off and calling it the day. It was a tiring day for them in the field and they slowly head towards their dressing room.
