Happy Bday CCPC!
This has been a great year for CCPC with a few ups and downs. CCPC shutting down...then coming back up after the demand of CCPC.
Awesome work by Amodh, Avroneel and Ashwin!
I hope this thread gets the best thread award this year and we continue the superb work!
Good job guys!

BTW...good win for Deadly XI. Let me get my hands at you Vaibhy! You come to the nets and you miss the next game

Welcome to First Class match between Blue Brigades and England A

THe stadium is packed to its full and the crowd is waiting for the action to begin.......

The pitch is green and the weather is fine... Win the toss and elect to bowl...

"The toss"​

The England A lost the first wicket early and then there was a good partnership for the second wicket between Bopara and Joyce for 84 Runs and Joyce completing the half century... and then it was a complete disaster for the Eng A Team as they lost there way and lost the last nine wickets for just 115 Runs... England A Team being bowled out for just 223 Runs... The pick of the bowlers for Brigades was Nailclaw (Spinner) who bowled superbly on the green track on the first day and picked up 4 wickets for 41 Runs from 11 Ovrs....​

The Brigades started there innings very badly loosing the opener Ashwin for just 3 Runs and the score 4/1. Then it was Aamir and Giggity who shared a partnership of 175 Runs for the second wicket... Aamir is in excellent form of his career scored a chanceless innings of 82 runs which comprised of 8 Fours and 3 Sixes... on the other hand Giggity who is a new player showed a lot of experinced and batted sensibly to score 98 Runs with 12 4's and 1 6's he was unlucky to miss out on a century.. there were some good contribution from the experienced Suren and KX who scored 45 and 32 respectively. and finally Brigades being bowled out for 371 Runs with a good lead of 148 Runs by 2nd Day......​

Once again England A lost early wicket and then the second wicket partnership between Joyce and Bopara added 107 Runs and joyce scored his 2nd 50 of the match and bopara missed 2nd 50 of the match getting out in 40's in both the innings.... and then the rest of batting order collapsed and England were bowled out for a paltry 228 runs.. the last 9 Wkts falling for just 111 runs... Sid and Usy picked up three wickets each... Scion Sid bowled with good line and length and troubled the English batsmen.... The target for the Brigades 81 Runs to win from 4 Session of play....​

Brigades knew they cant loose it from here so they batted patiently and the openers were in no hurry and they took there time and made sure that Brigades won by a Whopping 10 Wkts.... Aamir who batted brilliantly in the first innings was unbeaten on 47* and Ashwin who missed out in the first innings was unbeat on 30*.....​

A simple game, nice to remind on the top of the ladder for now.
