the most important thing is the team should win, if u score 99 and Team wins then its better than scoring a century and being on the loosing side...

Hello Everybody and Welcome to this exciting One Day game between Red Raptors and India A. The pitch is green, sun shining overhead, just a bit humid but perfect day for cricket. Good to see a clear sky after previous game was washed out. The pitch is perfect for cricket, the only odd advantage is that the ball may spin more in the second innings. So win the toss and bat first.
India A captain won the toss and elected to bat first. He considers his team to be good defenders, so if they can put up a fighting total, it'll be an exciting encounter.
The India A openers backed off their captain's decision to bat first and put up a strong opening partnership. A. Chopra and S. Dhawan put up 107 runs. They were going good until Treva struck for Raptors, when he knocked over the stumps of S. Dhawan. India A batsmen played very well in parts but none of them could take advantage of the starts they got, as a result they could only manage 248 runs. Good Bowling performance by Raptors. They didn't let the batsmen to attack them much and as a result, they were successful in restricting India A's total to a chasable score for their team.
Raptors openers had to give their team a good start in order to ease the run chase and they exactly did that. Xuzuno and Jaztheman put up 77 runs for the opening wicket. But the Raptors also had same problem that was with India A, none of their batsmen could hold on longer and make a big score. S Badrinath was smashed in his first 2 overs but then came back strong and got 3 wickets. The Raptors was so close to victory when S. Paul produced a peach of a delivery, that knocked the stumps of Harrypotterfan and also the Raptors' hope to win the game. Raptors were bowled out for 243 runs.
What a thrilling encounter that was. Raptors were so close to winning it. They had 2 overs to spare and just 5 runs to get but the India A bowlers never lost hope, they kept bowling well and were rewarded with the victory. Hard Luck for Raptors but it was a thrilling encounter to witness. We don't get to see such close games very often.S. Badrinath was awarded "Man of the Match" for his brilliant spell of bowling. After being hit for runs in his first 2overs he came back strong and picked up 3 crucial wickets.
That was sure a thrilling game and we wish to see some more of these in the future. The next match is a First Class Game betwen Green Goblins and England A. Until then, this is your host Aamir saying Good Bye.

Bad result for us, but why was I opening...? I'm usually batting at number 7-9, and it could have proven the difference since I batted so slowly.

Treva is a captain who always experiments and he send u as a pinch hitter....
hard luck for Raptors but well played by both the teams... Every batsmen getting starts but not converting into a big one...
good work Aamir getting better and better......
