The reason behind the excessive amount of time taken for the final squads was due to problems with the Pakistani Squad. The Pakistani camp had selected Shoaib Akhtar in their original 20 man squad. However the Tournament Organisers turned round and said that Akhtar was not welcome due to his contreversial past. The delay was due to waiting for Pakistan to announce the replacement for Akhtar with Umar Gul replacing him in the side. Now with all the squads finalised the tournaments opening game will be held on Friday next week at Lords and will take place between England and Australia, a show down between the old enemies to kick the tournament off. Tickets go on sale tommorow and are available online, from the ticket office or can be bought on the gate but fans are advised to book their tickets in advance to avoid dissapointment. For details on full how to get a "tournament ticket",allowing access to every game in the tournament log onto T20WCL.com.

Some very good teams there that could win the tournament. Akhtar not being allowed in the Pakistani team could be a minus for them but could be a blessing in disguise. Here's to a brilliant tournament ahead. :)

Great realistic writing, Joe.

I'm having a little bit of trouble making the kits for this as they come out looking naff. So I'm giving up. Instead what kits do you guys think I should use instead? Also is anyone willing to make me a kit for the US team? If so then pm and there will be multiple reps and possibly v-cash for you. Thanks in advance and get your kit sugestions in please.

Great work mate, very realistic. Not sure on the lack of Sunny for Bangladesh, he's heaps good on ICC :D

Should be an even tournament, looking forward to it! I'm not to concerned about the kits tbh. Just use the normal teams ones, and maybe like the World One Day XI for USA or something.

Ok I will try and get all the updated kits from around. If people can give me links to some of the kits then I will be greatfull as I can only find a few of them.

everything is pretty sorted now squads are done and other graphics are done. I decided to use the 2007 World cup kits but still need a kit for the US team. If anyone can provide me with a kit I could use for them then I will be very gratefull. I'm currently devising the shedule and wanted to ask for your oppinion. Should the tournament be 10 rounds with each team playing each other twice or 5 rounds with each team playing each other once. The rounds would be like so as the two teams will be split into two leagues, 1 and 2. Then it will either be a knockout system or a super 4 or whatever like the WC then semis and final. What do you guys think?
