The Falcons are a brilliant team in Battrick and now they are starting to make their mark in FTP (From the Pavilion). They are filled with energetic Youth and seniors that could save any match at any time.

The Falcons are a Pakistani based West Indian team.

Their Senior Squad Include:

Yasir Ahmed - A Wicket-Keeper who has devopled both batting and bowling skills. This 18 year old player is The Falcons best keeper at the moment. Although he hasn't gotten a good start with the bat.
Ehsanullah Ahmed - A very accurate Right Arm Finger spinner who is just 18 years old. This lad also has some batting skill. He will be playing a lot in the future.
Asif Akmal - A batsman that has impressed many in his first few games. He has scored 76 in his first One Day and 51 in his first 20/20.
Iqbal Alam - This lad can ball. He is a medium pacer who has something to offer, but he hasn't gotten the best of starts so far this season.
Ijaz Ansari - A extremely good all-rounder who has shined with the ball and with the bat. His left arm finger spin is more than handy in the games.
Masroor Ashraf - A lad who can bat, but did not impress even in the nets.
Farhan Baqar - So far this lad has impressed! With the ball he can keep things tidy and give absolutely nothing away. With the bat he can open the innings and give a solid platform or he can come down the order to complete the job.
Nadeem Butt - He has shown a lot of skill with the bat, but he has just to get to a bigger landmark. Maybe he needs to settle in a bit more before going for it.
Asif Gul - Asif and Gul. What a combination. He is the spearhead of the attack. His right arm fast-medium bowling is almost perfect and extremely hard for any batsman to face.
Nasir Haider - He can field. Thats pretty much it.
Zafar Hasan - A lower order hard hitting batsman that is perfect for the end.
Saqib Karimuddin - This lad promises so much but his accuracy is terrible. Still he remains a dangerous tool for the Falcons in the pace department.
Anjum Kashmiri - Anjum would be dissapointed for not getting a game yet. He is another very good spinner. He is hopeless with the bat though and he might want to fix that up.
Mohammad Naseem - The Captain of the team. Comes in the middle order and gives a fantastic bat. His leadership skills are really outstanding.
Anwar Shah - Tremendous batsman! He can bat, keep, and field brilliantly. His fielding and endurance is extremely good which is the key to his batting.

The Youth Squad Include:

Wahid Abbasi - 18 Year old and a fantastic batsman who has scored 74 on his debut.
Mohammad Ajmal - 18 Year old all-rounder. His pace bowling and his terrific batting is very handy as he as already shown on his debut game.
Imran Alam - 16 Year old batsman who knows how to hit and he can hit hard.
Mohammad Ali - 17 Year old left handed batsman who had a good first game. He still needs to prove himself.
Aqeel Anwar - 16 Year old left arm finger spinner who turns it miles and his bowling in his debut OD was amazing. His figures were 2/43.
Imran Aslam - 17 Year old left arm finger spinner. He has incredible accuracy which makes him extremely important for The Falcons.
Javed Bhatti - 17 Year old who still has a lot to prove.
Sohail Burki - 16 Year old right arm finger spinner who has been in the spotlight in the youth team. He has a high chance of making it into the Senior team.
Hammad Haleem - 16 Year old Wicket Keeper Batsman.
Aamer Mahmood - 16 Year old Wicket keeper batsman who is slightly higher rated than Haleem.
Afzal Shah - 16 Year old average all rounder who has very handy medium pace.
Shahnawaz Shehzad - 17 Year old Allrounder.
Majeed Waqar - 17 Year old batsman who has already reached the consideration of being promoted to Senior squad. He has tremendous power. His 134 on debut was an example of what he can do.
Faisal Khan is described to be a 17 year old medium pacer who can bowl long spells and pick up wickets.

The First Twenty20 game for the Falcons. This game was played under tremedous pressure and the Falcons showed their class. Every Bowler took a wicket for the Falcons as they restricted them to a score of 126/5. The Falcons led by Asif Akmal chased down the score with 1 ball to spare! It was a thrilling chase. The last ball required the Falcons to score 4 runs. And Butt delivered with a cracking shot:

In the End The Falcons defeated Denton County Cricket Club by 5 wickets.

Abbasi soon fell and Mohammad Ali was run out unfortunately. Ajmal then smacked 5 sixes in his innings (71) and the Falcons reached 314/2.

Here are some of highlights of the innings:

Congrats on the first FTP story :p

Should be interesting when we face off in the league ;) I don't like humiliating you in your own stpry thread, but I might have to...

Good luck with this story. :) You are one of those who have loads of experience in BT.. so no doubt that you are one of the greatest managers here ;)

New Youth Player transfered into Youth Team

While searching for another seamer, the manager found himself an extremely good medium pacer who was just 17. The player has been enrolled to the youth side from the Falcons academy.

Faisal Khan is described to be a 17 year old medium pacer who can bowl long spells and pick up wickets.

Faisal Khan set to make his Mark against The Yorkers

The Falcons and Faisal Khan are ready to play against the Yorkers (Cricketman93). The Youth team will be hoping to win the game as they did the last time they played. The Key player to look out for will be Majeed Waqar as his 134* in the first game showed that he is capable of leading the batting.

Imran Aslam the keeper has been elected as captain until the end of the season or further notice.

The Probable XI:

Majeed Waqar
Wahid Abbassi
Mohammad Ali
Mohammad Ajmal
Imran Aslam*(WK)
Imran Alam
Aqeel Anwar
Aamer Mahmood
Afzal Shah
Sohail Burki
Faisal Khan

Have you given up on this?

Anyways, he's playing me today in the OD League. My ground, sticky wicket, I'm in a spot of bother at 121/5 batting first. I should really get around to setting my orders!!! I've got my whole middle order on Agressive settings :p

The Blind Society defeated The Falcons by 17 runs
:)

Good game though, very close. You almost had it there when your lower order -especially Ehsanullah (Who I just found out can bat) and Butt- took you too 19 runs from 7 overs after being 110/6 after 26 overs, but Butt fell at the final over.

::Summary of Matches::

The Falcons v The Yorkers

The Falcons batted first in this PC battle and they did not disappoint! 289/5 was put up by The Falcons. Ajmal made a stunning 85 while Alam made a beautiful 89*.

Highlights:

Code:
[COLOR="Olive"]0.5	[B]6[/B]	Hamada to Abbasi : That's gone like a tracer bullet over the fence at extra cover.

18.6	[B]6[/B]	Jinturkar to Ajmal : Its high, its handsome, its hit someone in the crowd. Ouch!

24.1	[B]4[/B]	Satin to Ajmal : Pushes it through a bit too wide and Ajmal reaches out, slapping it past gully.

29.6	[B]6[/B]	Saeed to Alam : That's gone like a tracer bullet over the fence at extra cover.
That is 50 runs for Alam[/COLOR]

The Falcon bowlers than restricted The Yorkers to 252/5. The Final result was The Falcons defeated The Yorkers by 37 runs.

The Mighty Imps v The Falcons

The Falcons got a shock here as the Mighty Imps put up 142/4. And the Falcons just couldn't reach the target even with wickets in hand. The tight bowling restricted them to 136/3.

The Final result was:

The Mighty Imps defeated The Falcons by 6 runs.

The Falcons v BoilersaurusRex

Once again, The Falcons couldn't reach the target which the BoilersaurusRex set. 252/6 was a bit too much for the Falcons and the run-outs did not help. The Falcons stumbled their way to 211/6.

The Final Result:

BoilersaurusRex defeated The Falcons by 41 runs

The Falcons v Sinhala Ranaweera

The Second PC battle in this review as Voldemort's Sinhala Ranaweera took on the Falcons. For the First time, the Falcons had been bold out for just 165. Butt was the lone force standing on 28*.

Sinhala then chased down the score with just 39 overs with just 5 wickets lost. Ansari got 2/42 from his 10 overs to continue his excellent form.

The Final result was:

Sinhala Ranaweera defeated The Falcons by 5 wickets

The Blind Society v The Falcons

The Oldest battle in PC history. The Blind Society (formaly known as TT Lions or Zorax's Crap team :p) stumbled their way to a fluke-ish victory.

Bowling first, the Falcons restricted the Blind Society to 229/5. Ansari led the way with 2 wickets again. The Falcons though stumbled in their batting but they gave a scare as the last wicket partnership got them from 164 to 212. Just 17 runs from the target. Nadeem Butt made 59.

In the End:

The Blind Society defeated The Falcons by 17 runs

Fluke-ish victory ay? It was a fluke that your number XI even made it pass 10 balls, let alone score 20 runs!
And it was no fluke that my ratings were better than yours ;)
