As I've said, no current players are still afloat, how would England be so good after all? Cook retired after the last Ashes Series. As for Ramprakash, you never know.

Looking forward to watching Cameron Glass. I have chosen him as my favourite player. :)
He's my favourite, I created him after all :)

Matches will hopefully start this weekend, but a new flash that England have beaten the PM's XI by 41 runs.

ENGLISH PLAYER PROFILES
Jamesy James3 (33) (Gloucestershire) BAT, RHB, RM (C) ODI#69

Jamesy nicknamed JJ3, is a talented middle order batsman for England. He is always a hard-working player who is determined to captain his side to victory. While making his county debut at an early age of 17, JJ3 made his way up to the international level by the age of 27. Just recently he was named as the captain of England. Selectors have a huge amount of faith in him allowing him to make all the decisions with not much international experience. He is very aggressive player and goes for it from first ball. He is brilliant on the offside especially shots like the cut and lofted cover drive.

Logan Taylor (28) (Nottinghamshire) ALL, LHB, LFM (VC) ODI#26

Logan Taylor is a talented cricketer from Nottinghamshire. He made his debut back at the age of 24. He has strong leadership skills and sufficient international and domestic experience which has earnt him the job of vice captain. He loves to attack with the bat but is very defensive with the ball. He love playing shots like the sweep and pull whilst can easily generate a lot of movement off the seam and swing when bowling with a new ball.

Charlie Dickenson (32) (Hampshire) BAT, RHB, RM ODI#82

Charlie Dickenson is the third most capped player for England. With 98 test matches under his belt and 193 One Day Internationals, he has a lot of experience. He is very calm when he gets to the crease but once he finds his feet he is very hard to stop.

Tyler Bentley (35) (Durham) BOWL, RHB, OS ODI#8

Tyler Bentley is an extremely skilled spin bowler from Durham. He can get quite a lot of turn despite the condition of the ball however can sometimes lack accuracy and has become known to turn the ball too much. He is England’s most capped player and has 128 tests under his belt. His best innings figures in a test match are 8/25 (28 overs) against New Zealand.

Hayden Charlton (25) (Lancashire) BAT, RHB, LS ODI#5

An aggressive player who is frequently found playing for Lancashire. He is one of 5 players in the squad uncapped in any forms of international levels. He has a phenomenal record for Lancashire when batting in the middle order averaging 60.83 with the bat in First Class matches and 66.21 in One Day.

Jonathan Payne (28) (Yorkshire) WKB, LHB, LM ODI#15

Started playing for Yorkshire at the age of 23, Payne found himself being the best domestic Wicket Keeper in England. He loves to play the First Class form of the game and has solidly earnt himself a spot in England’s Test team. He has only played about 12 games for One Day Internationals but has proven to be a great player at international level. He has very good wicket keeping skills and has a Test Match average of 48.23.

Joel Higgins (31) (Northamptonshire) BOWL, RHB, SLC ODI#18

He is another international uncapped player. Has played extremely well for Northamptonshire for the last two seasons whilst playing a vital role in bringing Northamptonshire up to division one in the County Championship. He is very dangerous with the ball and can make it turn quite a lot.
Isaac Bibi (27) (Worcestershire) BOWL, LHB, SLA ODI#12

Ever since he played his first game for Worcestershire, English selectors kept a close eye on him. He has played around 15 test matches and 40 one days for England and being in great form we should start to see him frequently in the English team. He has the ability to bowl accurate and spin the ball a little. He is a great bowler in Tests, averaging just 15.32 with the ball including 97 wickets.

Owen Manning (22) (Warwickshire) BOWL, RHB, RF ODI#22

Has only played in One Day Internationals and is looking to start his test career against Australia in the upcoming Ashes Series. He is a very fast bowler and has the 2nd fastest bowl of all time, which was clocked at 162.8 KMH. When he opens the bowling, batsman find him hard to hit with the speed and swing he unleashes.

Harry Scott (24) (Surrey) BAT, RHB, SLA (PT) ODI#77

Harry is a talented batsman from Surrey. We also see him bowl a bit of spin on some occasions. He is yet to debut for England and has been called up into the English squad after a great domestic season of which he averaged 125.21 with the bat in First Class, this included a century in 60% of the games. He is very good at timing and hitting from the sweet spot of his bat. Favourite shots include Square Cut and Hook Shot.

Bradley Parkinson (31) (Sussex) BAT, LHB, LFM ODI#42

A true aggressive batsman from Sussex, Bradley has a One Day International SR of 162.42. However he is yet to make the test side as English selectors feel he will throw away his wicket. Bradley is very talented and can pick the ball in the air, in a split second he can judge to advance down the wicket or not etc. He loves lofting on the leg side and driving on the offside.

William Wills (29) (Kent) ALL, RHB, RFM ODI#11

He is following the footsteps of Andrew Flintoff. He is an extraordinary batsman and phenomenal bowler. He is very calm when he gets to the crease and once he adjusts to the games circumstances, he will play aggressively and won’t do anything stupid. He has good pace and bounce when he bowls and is extremely accurate. He rarely uses swing but can get quite a lot of seam movement.

Matthew Webb (34) (Hampshire) BAT, RHB, RM ODI#37

Matthew Webb is England’s second most capped player. His international career began at the age of 21. He is a talented batsman who frequently plays Test Matches, it’s very rare when you see him playing One Day. He is very defensive and has a test career strike rate of 60.21. His biggest weakness is lofting but he loves to drive the ball on the offside.

Stephen Maughan (19) (Derbyshire) BAT, LHB, LFM ODI#21

Stephen Maughan is England’s youngest player. He started playing for Derbyshire at the age of 17 and is yet to make his international debut. He is a very talented, aggressive batsman. Any ball which is in his favourite area, he will smack you for a boundary. English selectors have shown high faith in him due to superb form in domestic cricket.
Robert Vaughan (26) (Essex) BAT, RHB, OS ODI#4

A highly skilled batsman from Essex, Robert Vaughan is a moderate player and isn’t too aggressive nor too defensive. He is in very good international form after great success in the recent series against the West Indies. He loves playing off the back foot and on the leg side and can be very dangerous after he adjusts himself once at the crease. His highest One Day International score is 189*.

Liam Lambert (30) (Yorkshire) ALL, LHB, SLC ODI#10

Another All-Rounder in the side, Liam Lambert is more of a loves to toss on the gloves and have a bat. However he is frequently used as a Chinaman and can turn the ball quite a lot. He is still used in the ODI but it is rare to find him playing a test. Liam has not played a test since being dropped for all rounders Taylor and Wills. He is in fantastic ODI batting form.

James Brookes (25) (Kent) BOWL, RHB, RF, ODI#54

Brookes has proved himself a great fast bowler and works well with fast bowler Owen Manning. He doesn’t get as much pace as Manning but is very tight and has a career economy of 3.81 in ODI. He loves to bowl full and he is at best with the Yorker and he picks up a lot of LBW’s from this delivery. Along with this, his movement off the seam and swing is average and its very rare to see him use it a lot in a game.

Mohammad Green (30) (Glamorgan) BOWL, RHB, OS ODI#1

Mohammad Green made his way into the English side as a sensible bowler. But despite lack of turn, he is very accurate and tight. He is the current captain for Glamorgan and had a sensational season for Glamorgan last year. Selectors have high faith in Green and have said that due to his high leadership skills, he might become England’s future captain.

Scott Norman (28) (Lancashire) BOWL, LHB, LFM ODI#32

Scott Norman, the left handed paceman from Lancashire is a smart, tight bowler who can generate a lot of seam movement and swing. Norman has played in the ODI side for a while, but is yet to make his test debut despite strong claims for quite some time.

does that mean we win that Vbookie bet for JJ3 to represent England? :p

Yes it has, I am still working on creating all the England players ingame, but we are definitely hoping to start this week, so stay tuned!

How come? Surely some of the current Australian players would still be in the team.

Most of them will be in their mid-late 30s. We wanted to take a different approach.

Sorry about the wait everyone but trust me the wait will be worth it soon as we have some very good ideas for presentatio nand everything.
