A 16 team International Super League featuring all the Test teams and a few others would generate more money for each individual nation than their own Franchise league and the money could then flow into other forms.
Well, no because the calendar has been monopolised by the IPL and now other franchise leagues. 10-15 years ago, a league like this could have been implemented. Just because it's unlikely doesn't mean we can't imagine a more interesting or better cricket structure.
If teams like New Zealand, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh, all went on strike and said no international cricket until a new Super League is formed and therefore a more equal share of the pie it might change
All the players will still be employed in franchise leagues anyway.

The future of T20 league is simple and to be honest not many would like this opinion of mine.
Scrap all T20 leagues and start fresh. Let IPL owners and few other business tycoons own the teams. Also only allow T20 leagues in growing market and not same old traditional markets. Have a 4 international players in XI rule mandatory (Scrap the ILT20).
Limit the number of days a league can run to a max of 30.
IPL is already 2 months and becomes boring, PSL is close to 40 and eventually people will lose interest. 20-30 days is perfect for a league.
Have more double headers to complete the league.
Keep ticket prices low to attract more people to the stadium.
Build better quality stadium with good infrastructure (India, I am looking at you).
Good quality pitches.
Central contract owned by Franchise owners so same players play for all their different franchise.
There is no evidence in what you are saying. T20 WC was not poorly run, fans had a blast and was fun to watch. ICC does not have enough money to "Maximise their stars earning"
Why does the ICC have no money? Not enough International matches being watched? Simple, play more.
No one watches Afghanistan play Ireland in a 5 match T20 series, but if it was part of a World Cup people would watch it.

Did anyone watch the new South African T20 league? Buying teams in a league no one watches is a waste of time.
No one in the US watches cricket, how is buying those teams good business sense.

If it is the same players contracted to the same franchises in every league isn't it just just the same tournament 4 times a year, and if Indians own all the teams isn't it 4 IPLs?

If you want Kohli to test his skills against Pakistanis in a Franchise league just let them back into the IPL, you don't have to play it in the UAE or the US.

I said with IPL team owners and other business tycoons. MLC has 4 IPL owners and 2 others which includes Cricket Victoria and local tech tycoon. Pakistani players are involved in MLC and nobody has said a word that they cannot play except in IPL.

I think you mean 'monetized'. Monopoly brings about a completely different meaning here.
A league structure won't work for cricket due to the following:
Long drawn out
Too many one sided games
Personally,I can't see how this becomes interesting. The last World Cup was a bore, so was the Super 8 in 2007- these were on the lines of leagues.
You are talking about implementing leagues in a packed calendar full of T20 leagues. Do you really think people might want to watch more meaningless T20s?
Are you out of your mind? How can you contradict your own statements in the same post? One one hand you state the WT20 is short, on the other you want to limit it to 10 teams?

Teams can get an equal share if they bring in those kinds of revenues. Per your suggestion,should the teams go on strike, that would be the death of all international cricket.
Play more, yes. But let it have a proper structure. A league cannot be an excuse to keep on playing. Truth be told, the ICC gets its revenue via sale of TV rights, sponsorship and other items. Bilaterals have no standing at all.
T20 leagues are being run as pure businesses. Businesses will invest and eventually walk away of the leagues don't work out. Over a period of time, many will collapse. You've seen what happened with the Lankan, Bangla leagues. Even the SA leagues had teething troubles.
Read my point above. Also, the US is trying to bring in more cricketers into the system. Lot of Americans have been at the games. Businesses will try to develop the game further.
The USA will become a haven for those players who are being shunned by their domestic/international sides. Akin to the Kolpak deals that used to be a thing of the last, one will see a lot many migrating to the States to pursue their cricket further.
The next big market will be China. Businesses aren't dumb to invest truck loads without a proper risk return analysis

I am trying to with factual points. International Cricket should not die and we all have discussed this in past. But meaningless one sided games should end, that is killing cricket more then the franchise cricket leagues. India vs West Indies is the perfect example. Even though the WI have won more ICC trophies compared to India in last 10 years, there still is a huge gap in terms of talent right now!
I see a lot of people comparing won trophies to being success, I do not think any other team has had as much success of reaching semis and finals consistently across formats as India.
Also I was lost on Kohli part, have no idea where that came from.
