Scotland is a beautiful country although I don't think it is the greatest. Although I'm proud to be a third or half scottish. :)

It is good, but for fact it rains all the time.

I remember getting up in the morining everyday, first thing I did was look in the window, and if the day was bright and sunny, I was happy as sh*t the whole day. :) great.

They did actually have Chemical weapons, of a very juvenile type.

For the heck of it, the last thing I wanna trust is the BBC.
I have no hard feelings for the US, apart from the big people "controlling" the stuff.

As talking about US, I have never been there. Heard lot of good and bads.

What exactly has the BBC done that makes you so much against it?

Well the BBC has been known to only publish what Labour want them to publish but I don't think they are being controlled by them

The BBC is an independant company funded by the license fee. It is supposedly neutral. Although I'd heavily doubt you're comments Highlander as in their Panorama programmes they've torn apart both Labour and Conservative policy, leaders and their lives.

I am not "against" the BBC, they make me feel sick, they never look at a situation from different eyes. By BBC I mean media as a whole :p.

I can't remember the names but one of the Director Generals of the BBC was a massive Labour Supporter. I'm not saying there have not been issues raised against both parties, I'm saying Labour gets away with a lot of things due to their relationship with the BBC

I think the NHS are brilliant, normally we go private but I had some stomach problem when I was about 6, was operated on and got back home on the same day. Everyone criticises the UK far too much imo, sure we've got problems but so has every country and ours are a lot smaller than 99% of others. As my dad says unless you read the daily mail and think you're going to be attacked by gypsie, immigrant hoodies we're pretty lucky to be living in the UK.

Exactly. The majority of negative vibe towards the UK in this thread is from mus guided newspapers who exploit scare mungering and terrifying the nation as a selling point for their product.

Do you speak with an English or an American accent?

Most usually with a broad Lancashire accent, but if i've had a conversation with the family over there or visit over there i pick up the accent pretty quickly and get back into it, but still has the Lancashire twang i'm afraid

A lot of people in the UK complain about a lot of stuff like the weather, fuel prices, taxes etc. but when you look at the bigger picture and what other countries have, I think I am very lucky to be living here.
Everyone here can have everything they need, there is no poverty forced on anyone, there is always a way out.
We have free education for anyone up to 18.
We have hospitals which are clean and work efficiently (criticised too much)
We probably have one of the highest average wage per person in the world.
We have all the new technology available to us.
We have products available to us from all over the world, not just what we produce in the UK.
We have transport to almost anywhere in the world available to us.
We are one of the best sporting nations in the world (although sometimes it may not look like it).
We can't get sunburnt much :D. In fact, although it might sound a bit silly, I would rather have the weather like it is here than have it really hot all the time, I don't think anyone can enjoy prolonged periods in the heat of the sun, getting all tired and sweaty, I would rather be somewhere like the UK where you can do stuff without getting burned or exhausted :p.

Whenever I go on holiday abroad, it makes me realise how good the UK actually is when I get back, although I have said Australia is somewhere that would be nice to live, I don't think there's anywhere better to live in the world than the UK, and I think that Coventry is one of the better cities in the country.

This is the positives about the UK, which are really kool.

Also kinda less/or no natural disasters over there, compare to Bangladesh.

Greater than America's IIRC. Also, I'm pretty sure our GDP per square mile is greater too.

GDP per square mile is a pretty unreliable indicator. Iraq's GDP per square mile is higher than that of Canada.

Yes, it is definitely unreliable as very small country with inhabitants who receive high income could have more GDP per SM than a country with more capital. Plus, it could all change rapidly with factors such as inflation, unemployment, etc.

I was just backing up a point.
