Despite strong rumours that Don't Panic Racing would run an Aston Martin DB7 at Le Mans this year, the team was spotted testing a AER powered Lola B05-40 at a rather surprising location today. The team is said to be seeking sponsorship for the 2008 race and a link up with the BBC programme Top Gear was strongly denied by BBC bosses.
Onlooker The Stig was asked to comment on how the car looked, he replied "........"
In other news the ACO announced that this years grid was expected to consist of 55 cars and entries confirmed currently stood at 42.
55 cars sounds good and hopefully Don't Panic Racing can find a sponsorship for the 2008 race. Top Gear would of been fitting but it seems it won't be their sponsors. Looking forward to the next update, Kev.

With no practice before qualifying Don't Panic Racing struggled for pace during the session and the car was seen in the gravel traps many times. Speaking Afterwards driver Kev said "It's a little different to driving a modern race car, but we took a gamble on the suspension settings right at the end of the session and the car felt better".
