Draft: The One Team Draft - Round Seven Starts!

Yeah, but he is a all format player with averages of 20 in both FC & List A as well. Playing for Tamil Nadu & Tnpl.

Just like Sai Kishore in CSK, he is having tough luck in IPL so far. Hope he will play in next season. Massive fan of Sai & Sid.

There are two other batting gems available to pick for other teams from Tamil Nadu.
For you and @Bevab (you both have far more knowledge than me in this area) I'd be intrigued who you'd pick in an all-Tamil XI, including Sri Lankan Tamils

Can definitely do that, there is some serious talent available. Can I send it via discord in coming weekend ?

If this is all-time then I did one for the Ranji team three years ago. Doubt if anyone has made their case for inclusion in the years since. I’ll have to modify it a bit to include Sri Lankan Tamils.

If this is for a current XI of sorts I’d have to start fresh as I’d have to look into who is eligible from the Sri Lankan side of things. :p

Sai Kishore has at least kicked on at Titans, the way he was treated at CSK was criminal and it is one of my biggest pet peeves with the team in recent years. Siddharth just seems to not be in favour, they opted for Ajith Ram last year in Ranji cricket (who seems to have performed well too). SMAT is understandable at least given M Ashwin, Sai Kishore and Chakravarthy are preferred for obvious reasons.

I remember an article about him a few years ago on how he would be someone to look forward to. Still a mystery as to why he doesn’t get chances at higher levels regularly.

Seeing that everyone’s opting for the more valuable picks over big names now, it’s time I follow the same.

:ind::wk:Jitesh Sharma has quietly had two IPL seasons of extraordinary hitting pedigree that many a famed hitter would be proud of whilst playing for perhaps the most dysfunctional side in the IPL‘s history. What’s even better is that this comes at the cost of just three teams. It’s inevitable that this man plays a game for India in the near future so let me get ahead of the curve and pick him now.

@mohsin7827 to continue.

Think I've updated the team and draft (debating if I should just link to the posts here instead of Cricinfo profiles as the latter isn't always right anyways) posts to be accurate. If I've missed anything out or accidentally allowed someone to pick two players from the same team(s) let me know. :thumbs

I would always link the posts here, but I'm also open to the idea there might be better ways of doing things than how I do them

Hasaranga to fill the important Leg spinner provide some handy lower order batting

:nzf: :wkb: Devon Conway
:eng: :bat: Sam Hain
:sri: :ar: Wanindu Hasaranga
:pak: :bwl: Shaheen Shah Afridi
:ind: :bwl: Jasprit Bumrah

@Aravind.

Abdul Razzaq from Pakistan

Solid allrounder, can be used a finisher with 2000 T20 runs and a proper bowler with 135 T20 wickets.

At this point I think you should stay away from 2000s Pakistani cricketers given that they all seem to end up ineligible when you pick them. :D

In Razzaq’s case he clashes with Jayasuriya (ACC XI) and Gilchrist (Middlesex) without delving deeper into other ones.

Josh Little 114 T20 wickets at average of 22.
