Yes, If we are looking someone like him as a coach I would suggest Waqar or Wasim. Waqar influenced Rana on that Windies tour where he got his form back, but as soon as he left, the bowling fell apart.

An interesting story building up here...

PCB are willing to accept Younis Khan, but Younis is saying that he needs things to go his way. Really immature from him. But the PCB isn't coming in terms with Younis. Some other weird news is that Younis Khan is not going play the Abu Dhabi series versus Sri Lanka which is in May.

Why? Salman Butt has hardly been given a chance. Abdul Razzaq is still our best all-rounder. Sami was our best WC bowler, and Kamran wasn't half bad in the WC. Players have bad times, and I know its frustrating, but the last thing we need is a complete overhaul..

Younis doesn't deserve to play ODI cricket anymore, and doesn't deserve to be captain.

Younis done the right thing in my opinion. Turning down the captaincy, he'll never have it his way if he's captain, it'd be bliighted by those in the Pakistan Cricket Board thinking they know more than the current players. He's done th right thing, and hopefull it'll wake th PCB up and realise they have to move forward and stop trying control everything, and picking old favourites rather than those that deserve a place.

well i think that Pakistan should make someone young their captain, now that Younis has declined officially. Pakistan can take the same sort of approach as South Africa did with Smith and get a young captain and stick with him even when the going gets tough.

they need to give him allot of freedom and the need to back him all the way in everything that he does but i know that will never happed with the PCB.

Shoaib Malik as Captain, and Yousuf as Vice-Captain. Perfect in my opinion. The Youth and aggressiveness with Yousuf's experience and calmness.

I support the notion of giving Malik a chance but I can see Yousuf feeling a bit screwed over. After all, he is the one of the most experienced players in our team now (most experienced in ODIs) and he's shown that he wants to be captain.
