Since when do we play at midnight. No wonder I couldn't take any wickets. I was too tired to bowl as it was 12 am at night.

I was expecting a Symonds come back,he will not break rules,I assure you.
Unexpectedly I have picked for Indian Squad,but captain has batted me in middle order as I am a pure opener.
Hope I will bat for my team and help them to put up a good score.

Day 1- Afternoon Session


1:55 pm: Here comes the players , as the Afternoon Session begins at the Gabba, with MacLovin facing on 44*, and his partner, AshesXII is on 15. Biggy will open proceedings for Australia.


2:09 pm: 20/20 PRO to MacLovin....its going down leg and MacLovin goes for the slog...he`s misjudged it and its straight up in the air...and BKB 1991 takes the catch! MacLovin goes out for a well deserved 45, just 5 runs short of his 50. 20/20 picks up his second wicket, well done. In comes Rahuldravidfan from the pavillion.

2:28 pm: 20/20 PRO to AshesXII...OH WHAT A SHOT! He leg-glances it and it races towards the boundary for four! He`s on 22* at the moment.


2:34 pm: Biggy to Rahuldravidfan...he cover-drives it and thats smacked through the covers for four, this shot brings him to 9*.


2:38 pm: Biggy to rahuldravid fan...he goes for the slog, and that bounces a metre off the boundary, and thats four! What a start by Rahuldravidfan as he`s on 15 off just 17 balls.


2:46 pm: Thats it for 20/20 PRO`s spell, bowling 13 overs for 2-22, well bowled! That means that BKB1991 comes into the action, with AshesXII on 23 (104) and rahuldravidfan on 23(23).


2:58 pm: Biggy will have a rest, with his figures at 16 overs for 0-50, he`ll want a wicket when he gets back on. In comes the off-spinner hedger_14.


3:05 pm: BKB1991 to AshesXII, its short and wide and is smacked through point, and thats another four, AshesXII will be happy with that, considering how slow he`s batting.


3:08 pm: Hedger to rahuldravidfan...its full and slight wide of off-stump, rahuldravidfan tries to go for the slog but it hits him on the pads..the Aussies appeal, NOT OUT!! Oh dear oh dear, hawkeye says its out, ah well, better luck next time Hedger. Rahuldravidfan is on 26 with his partner on 30.



3:15 pm: Hedger to AshesXII....its a low full toss and he smacks it for a massive six!! Thats the first six of the match, and it brings him to 36* off 134 balls.


3:22 pm: Hedger to AshesXII...wide off off-stump, and he cuts it for four! AshesXII is ten runs short of his 50!


3:30 pm: Thats it for BKB1991`s spell, his figures are 14 overs for 1-22. And the part-timer cricket22 will replace him.


3:37 pm: Hedger to rahuldravidfan...he unleashes the slog-sweep and thats six! This shot brings him to 42 (60)


3:39 pm: Hedger to AshesXII...he drives and thats four! That shot brings him to 46* (150).

3:40 pm: cricket22 to AshesXII...he leg-glances it and thats four! He brings up his 50 with a glorious shot!! Well batted AshesXII!


4:00 pm: Thats it for the Afternoon session, with only one wicket falling, and rahuldravidfan 44(73) and AshesXII 61(168) steadying the ship for the Indians. The Indians are 3-175.

4:30 pm: Here comes the Indians and the Aussies, as they set out for the final session of play for the day. The Indians are 3/175, with AshesXII (61*) and rahuldravidfan (44*) in the middle. Looks like 20/20 PRO will open proceedings for the Aussies.


4:33 pm: 20/20 PRO to AshesXII....ohhh what a shot! Not a bad ball really, he just steps back and drives it through mid-off, and thats four! What a way to start off a session! Looks like cricket22 will bowl the next over.


4:51 pm: cricket22 to rahuldravidfan who`s on 47..its full and down leg, and he smashes it for four!! Thats rahuldravidfan`s half-century, take a bow young man, well batted!


4:58 pm: Looks like cricket22 will be taken off his bowling duties, and will be replaced by Biggy. His final figures are 7 overs for 0-21.


5:10 pm: 20/20 PRO, on his 19th over coming in to bowl against Rahuldravidfan...is short and he pulls it for six!! What a shot! And that brings him to 61(99) and his partner AshesXII on 72(208) Looks like their gonna turn this into a biggy!


5:23 pm: 20/20 PRO is taken off and will have a rest after 20 overs of bowling, and BKB1991 will replace him. His final figures are 20 overs for 2-39. He got wickets and bowled at a fantastic economy rate, well done.


5:31 pm: Thats 80 overs of the match gone, and Australia decides to take the new ball, lets see if they can take advantage of the new ball. AshesXII is on 83* and rahuldravidfan is on 68*.


5:32 pm: BKB1991 to AshesXII....NO SUCH THING OF AN ADVANTAGE! He smashes that for four, seems like nothing can stop him!


5:47 pm: Biggy to AshesXII....and thats four! Its a full toss and he drives it straight down the ground! He`s on 96*, just 4 off his century, can he do it?


6:06 pm: Seems like 20/20 PRO is coming back on again, after a short rest, to replace Biggy, who`s bowled 25 overs for 0-79.


6:19 pm: BKB1991 to AshesXII...he carefully places it at midwicket and runs a single. He`s on 99*!! Will he do it for the Indians!?


6:27 pm: BKB1991 to AshesXII..its full and wide and he cuts it through point for four! And thats his century!! Take a bow! Brilliant batting by AshesXI, what a start to his series!


6:30 pm: Thats the end of the first day, with the Indians in a strong position, with 3-260 on the board. The Aussies will have to get early wickets tomorrow morning. And i am proud to announce that AshesXII is the Man-Of-The-Day!! He will obtain a MVP point, putting him in contention to win the MVP award.
