Managing the teams is looking like a chore/burden to the other teams.

That's because no one does it the way "The Lannisters" do.

In all seriousness, i'm liking this league a lot, the only reason i can't participate more is that i'm working a couple of hours a day plus school, otherwise i'd have done a lot more. And a lot of my teammates are either busy with exams or perennially inactive

Completely understandable. March, April May is exam season in most parts of subcontinent as well as here in US with midterms coming up before the spring break. I have been more active in this league because things are good right now even if the activity is limited. More activity for me just leads to chaos and spamming. Less activity means quality and so far this has been like that. Kudos to the entire TPCL management.

Why don't we have respective team's own decision to bat or bowl ?
For example:-
While announcing the squad captain will mention " if we win toss , Bat first ".
Can this be done in simulator , instead simulator picks its random choice ?

Simulator has the ability to allow people to select the 'bat' or 'bowl' options after winning the toss. But I highly doubt if it can be used while simulating as a third party and not as one of the teams.
