The names reveal a lot too. Take Rudolph's instance - It's hard to believe MattW as a roleblocker and it more likely should be a vigilante. So revealing names is as harmful as revealing roles.

I don't trust him but (swacker) CerealKiller being a vanilla opposed this well, if a person having a role can be vanilla then why can't be a staff/admin be a roleblocker considering the site's been hacked.

Apples and oranges. CerealKiller playing a girl is from the point of reference of a player. MattW being a roleblocker is from the point of reference of an in-game character.
