Welcome to the valley where a charlton side ushering in a new era with no more Alan Curbishley take on a rejuvinated and promising looking manchester United side who after a 5-1 crushing victory over Fulham look back and better than ever. It's back and its the premiership at its best. Heres how Andy sees the teams lining up:
No pics, haven't got the time :p
Well I can't see Charlton playing anything but a basic 4-4-2 as they are really going to have to try and ontain united by doing the simple stuff right, you can't ask more than that. they wil have to put them under pressure and not allow them any time on the ball or creative freedom as if you give them that then they could destroy you. i wouldn't put it past Darren bent to nick a goal as he looks to continue on last years good form.
As for United well they could take you apart and when at their best they are unstoppable. With so much quality up front and out wide people often overlook te class of players like Carrick,Ferdinand,Vidic and Neville who let the attackers do most of the work but are more than capable of being match winners. I see a basic 4-4-2 to start with Rooney just dropping off however knowing united they can all interchange in a total football style.
Thanks Andy now its over to Geoff for the pre match interviews:

Interview with Ian Dowie:
Geoff Shreeves: Ian no offence but there will be no monkey business from me toady,I don't fancy either you or Sir Alex
Ian Dowie:erm ok????? What are you on about
GS: Never mind, looking forward to the game?
ID: yes it will be a challenge so short into my reign at Charlton
GS: Do you stand a chance?
ID: yes this is the premiership, anyone can be beaten on their day,we're only human. Even if Rooney doesn't look it :p
GS: Whos your key man?
ID: Well Jimmy has a good record against united and him and daz up front are more than capable of a few goals
GS: thanks mate
ID: thanks
Interview with sir Alex Ferguson
GS: Sir Alex, enjoying the new season?
AF: certainly am if we keep winning
GS: expecting a win?
AF: well i had a great record here v Curbs so I hope it can stay that way under new managers
GS: Can we expect any surprises in the formation?
AF: Depends what your expecting in the first place ;)
GS: Whos going to be the key today?
AF: Well we've got so many players but I've got a funy fielding it could be my boys who everyone doubted Rooney and Ronaldo
GS: thanks
AF: cheers

ok guys i've made the video and everything but theres not enough room to save it! I'll try and save it onto a disc or something tomorrow and then upload it onto youtube if thats possible??

Problem solved through 2 video links, 1 for 1st half,1 for second half.

Charlton V Manchester United
1st half
Manchester united arrived at the valley with one tactic. Attack. In the traditions of the great club they did just that with united making a merciless charge upon the charlton goal. Only the keeper Scott Carson repeatedly prevented them, perhaps some bad blood coming from Liverpool, with one of the most inspired goalkeeping performances in the first half that you will ever see. Michael Carrick eventually made the breakthrough with a cracking volley home off a cross from a Louis Saha cross. United continued to pile on the pressure but only went into the break a goal ahead with Charlton still very much in it.

2nd half
United came out with more intent and they piled on the pressure once again after an early scare where Jimmy Hasselbaink burst through on goal only to be stopped by Edwin Van Der Sar. Late on in the 2nd half Ronaldo wipped the ball in off a corner and Saha headed home unmarked and unchallenged. then in the last few secnds some catastrophic defending and keeping left Saha with an easy chance to bag a brace and he did poking the ball into the empty net. A cracking performance from a united side who look ready to fight hard for the premiership.

Final score: Charlton Athletic 0-3 Manchester United
no-one predicted correctly so to choose next weeks featured game answer this question, first person to answer it gets the choice. Who is (when this is set, 2006) the longest serving manager in the footbal league. Not now but when this is set!
Stay tuned (for a week :p ) to hear the post match reaction

no more updates as I'm going on my hols to see my mate Jose and all that :p

Nice pres, quick tip, if you are using photoshop. When you create text, find the text in the layers bar on the right, right click and go on "Blending options" then find "stroke". Then add a coloured border to the text to make it easier to read on the backgrounds. Will make your pres even better, the only time it was a problem was on the half time screen though, apart from that awesome. Nice work buddy. keep it up.

yep sadly i don't have photoshop :p All paint lol, i've had 100's of trials too. Did you watch the videos? Only they don't have any views yet so I'm not sure you did lol
