The Reintegration Thread

surrey is not signing KP up for FC games, i would say there is little chance of him discovering form if he cant play FC games. The only way he can knock the doors was through a terrific county performance once India generously reinstated cook as captain for another year.

gold, i thought presentations were bad.

“100 things” that would improve the team. This tripe comes from the same coaching-by-numbers manual employed by Mickey Arthur, the Aussie head coach to be forever remembered as the architect of homework-gate.

He's not going to play test cricket for England again so it doesn't really matter that he's not playing CC matches for Surrey.

Its sort of sad i had a little hope till lords test.Just finished the first article great read and really gives a good insight of things.

If you took 100 test deliveries at random, and charted the number of deliveries KP could hit to the boundary 8/10, and did the same thing for Ian Bell, I bet Bell's chart would have half as many deliveries or less.

And that's not to say Bell isn't a good player. He's a sublime timer of the ball and a terrific dispatcher of shit deliveries.

Personally if I had to choose between KP and Bell, especially for the World Cup squad, I would go for KP everytime. Not only does KP have a a better average, his strike rate is 86 as against Bell's 76. That difference of 10 runs per 100 balls over 50 overs (300 deliveries) is 30 runs. In an ODI the difference of extra 15-25 runs, that KP would bring over Bell is huge.

Ha i've been disappointed in Agnew in this saga, him a few UK cricket journalist have come across has real ECB mouthpieces in this KP saga. Their credibility has journalist keep declining.

If it was indeed Flower that reintegrated KP, that an interesting twist. I tell ya when KP's book drops next month & both sides can talk opening, this story is going to explode to another level...

Its October 1st & if I'm correct KP confidentiality agreement with ECB is either up today or sometime before this week out. So look out for the next phase of revelations from the KP side [HASHTAG]#getyourpopcorn[/HASHTAG]...

That contradicts what I read yesterday about the ECB potentially denying him the home board release agreement he needs to play in the Big Bash/IPL etc.

It'd be such a PR own goal for the ECB to stop him playing big bash/ipl. it'd be petty and vindictive and couldn't really be seen as anything else by anyone.

So i'm pretty sure they'd do it if they could.

Basically they have deprived him of all forms of cricket as of now, except for the few t20 leagues. The prob is a year after now i really doubt he will have any form left.
