Sir Alex's Fergusons Academy Month 1 Update

Sir Alex has come out with his first update about the managers of top 3 teams of the Scottish First Division where is proteges are managing. The first manager he spoke of was Welsh man Rhys Williams.

St. Johnstone;

45 year old Rhys Williams has started his managing career with a bang. Including friendlys Rhys has failed to lose a match even when his team faced premier league big guns Arsenal. In this match his side came out the better drawing the game 1-1 at home. The match was shown on TV and was Williams first taste of under pressure managing. He gave a very good account of himself. His team went down 1-0 in the 37th minute when Van Persie slotted a penalty. Williams team could have given up there and then but they hit back 3 minutes later and they levelled 1-1. Two league games down and rhys is joint top of the pile on 4 points. He also houses the leading goal scorer Peter Macdonald, scorin 4 goals in just 2 games and recieveing man of the match in both the matches. He also shares the highest average rating with team mate Irish Andy Jackson.

Rhys drew his first league match 2-2 against fellow rival James Edmonds. It was a very square match and each team took the lead once in the match but the other then came back, In Williams' other match he beat his other rival S Das 3-0 in a fairl comfortable match. A top start for the welsh man managing a scottish team!

Rhys transfer dealins have led him to aquiring 3 new players spending 65k. He only sold one player but managed to sell him for 70k. Leaving his club 5k in profit, at the start of the season. There have been no rumours as of yet about Rhys next transfer dealings.

Williams next match comes up against India manager Shantanu Ambekar and his Dunfermline outfit. Williams we be able to keep his winning streak intact.

Media Prediction: 2nd
Current Position: 1st

The Second Manager that Sir Alex spoke of was Indian Shantanu Ambekar;

Dunfermline;

Shantanu's outfit lye joint first with 4 points after 2 games of the league, Ambekar's team lost 3 of there 5 friendly matches but have turned their form around since then having not lost since the real matches started. Ambekar's first loss came to major french side Olympique Marseille in which they lost 2-1 at home in a close match, his second loss came to East Fife a team that are actually the league below Dunfermline, he also lost to portugese outfit porto in their last friendly. Ambekars 2 wins came against Ayr in a 5-0 rout and then a 3-0 victory against the Man Utd reserves. Ambekars first league win came against morton in a 3-1 victory. Shantanu's outfit scored in the 2nd minute setting the tone for the rest of the match he then drew 1-1 to Partick Thistle in his next league match. He has also guided his team through to the 2nd round of the League Cup after he beat East Fife 1-0 after losing in pre-season. He also guided his team to the third round of the challenge cup scoring 7 goals on his way.

Shantanu has bought in 4 players since his arrival for a total of 53k, he has yet to sell any players. All of his signing are young players as Shantanu looks to the future making a young squad.

Shantanu's next match comes against top of the table rivals St. Johnstone, It has been known that Shantanu and Williams dont get on so will be intresting to see if the 2 managers can keep their cool in the heat of the match.

Media Prediction: 3rd
Current Position 2nd

And finally in his first update for the first month is Zohaib Ikram the South African born manager;

Queen of Sth;

Zohaib Ikram has lost just two games since his arrival at Queen of Sth. These two losses came in pre season friendly to german side Werder Bremen and to English side Northampton. Ikram will be upset by this loss as he felt his team should have won the match. Since the season started Ikram is unbeaten in his games, recently recording his first win in europe against Vaduz away. He will be hoping his team can progress to the next round of europe. In the league South African Ikram has managed a 1-1 draw against Dundee and a 2-0 win against Airdrie United. He is the 3rd of the 4 teams drawn at the top of the league on 4 points.

In the transfer window Ikram has dealt specifically in loans, bringing in 4 players on loan. 1 long term loan and 3 short term loans expring at christmas time. He has also bought in Jason Banton on a free, Ikrams spending totals just 100 pounds that he paid for Hearts player Matthew park.

Zohaibs next match comes against Livingston, Ikram has spoken of his friendship with Edmonds and will not be grudge him and hopes the better side wins in the forthcoming match.

Media Predicition: 4th

Sir Alex's Fergusons Academy Month 1 Update

Sir Alex next spoke of English man Ben Manning;

Partick Thistle;

Ben Manning one of a few English managers working under Sir Alex lies joint first with the top 3 losing out to the other 3 on goal difference. He has the lowest goal difference at just +1. Manning has lost just one match in all forms of football since his arrival at the Thistle. This solitary loss came to english outfit Doncaster losing out 1-0 away from home. Manning seriously impressed in his first game and also his second. You couldn't have a harder opponent to face in your first came but Manning game away from his home game against Bayern Munich with a 1-1 draw. He was much talked about after this as the game was televised aswel. In his second match he faced Fernabache again at home, this time Manning pulledall the right strings producing a stunning 2-0 win, he went on to beat Torquay, Watford and Chesterfield in an impressive pre season. His first league win came against clyde, managed by fellow English man Robbie Campbell he recorded a 2-1 win and then Dunfermline to take his side to 4 points. Although his league form might be good, Thistle are already out of challenge cup after losing to Edmond's Livingstone.

Manning has been very busy in the transfer window, he has let 3 of his players go bringing in a combined 15k. He has bought in no less then 6 players, two of these loans from Bolton and Celtic. Even though he has brought 6 new players, Manning is still yet to spend a penny. His highest profile signing was that of Ronnie Wallwork who spent nearly 10 years at Manchester United. He is hoping wallwork will bring experience to some of his younger players.

His next fixture comes against Jack Teague's Dundee.

Media Prediction: 5th
Current Position: 4th
_______________________________________________________________________________

The 5th manager he spoke about was another English man, Robbie Campbell.

Clyde;

English man Robbie Campbell started his managing career off in style winning his first game 3-0 and then his second game 4-0 he then also produced a shock when his side held Werder Bremen to a 2-2 draw. Campbell then lost his last 3 friendlies which included loses to Reading and the Celtic Reserves. His start to his league campaign got off to a bad start when he lost 2-1 to Partick Thistle. McSwegan scoring Clyde's only goal in the 81st minute. He took his team into the next round Leage cup by beating Cowdenbeath but was not knocked out at the first attempt of in the Challenge Cup to Queen of Sth. In which him and Ikram exchanged bitter words. His team beat Teague's Dundee to record their first win of the league and to take them to their present position of 5th with 3 points on goal difference with 2 other teams.

Campbell's current transfer spending sees him gain a profit of 54k as it stands, he has sold 2 players whilst allowin another two to leave on loan deals. He has brought in 4 players aswel, in the same cirumstances, buying two players for a combned 2k and bringing in two players on loan deals.

Clyde's next match comes against Edmonds Livingstone.

Media Prediction: 10th
Current Position: 5th
_______________________________________________________________________________

The 6th manager Sir Alex spoke of was Indian Shalin Shah,

Airdrie United;

Airdire United lie in 6th place level on 3 points with 2 other clubs. They are 6th on points difference and will be looking to climb the table. Shah's pre season went very badly for him winning just 1 game and losing the other 5. His solitary win came against championship side Coventry. He started off the real season badly losing his first challenge cup game to Morton but managed to reach the second round with a victory over Third Division side Dumbarton.

Shah has been one of the busiest managers in terms of transfers having sold only a player for a 1k he also let one go out on loan aswel. Shah has bought in possibly the most amount of players so far. 2 players on free transfers and then another 7 on loan, these including 4 blackburn players and highly rated Manchester United midfielder Sam Hewson.

Shah's next match comes against Clyde.

Media Prediction: 8th
Place Currently:6th

Join us in a moment when Sir Alex goes over the last 3 managers and then the stats for the months.

Pretty pleased with how I'm going and happy about the 2-2 draw against Bremen :)

Just added in a bit about the media prediction and the current position.

Very pleased with how things are going at the moment. An excellent performance so far, long may it continue. Delighted with a 1-1 draw versus Arsenal, perhaps the best performance of the friendly season. However, looking forward to the tough matches ahead against my fellow performers. It should get quite tight this season! :D
