The Silence Of The Lambs Mafia - Endgame - SK (Sulaiman7) WINS

You represented my first post man and now the lynch. I don't know how can I post any sort of solid defense on Day 1 on the basis of my one single post.

And I'm not ready to accept your role claim either, 2 mafias and 4 townies along with 1 SK is what the setup seems to be according to me. You could be a serial-killer, your statement says so:
Quite an important role in a small game and I'm claiming partly because day 1 is boring, but also because I think it's in both the town and mafia's interests to keep me alive. Happy to be investigated and my story checked out.

Nicely twisted.
"Fellow" town if you like. It's a perfectly valid concern that because my role isn't a PR in the classic sense that I'm of less "use" to the town.

You try to get discussion moving. Rather than complaining about how boring day 1s are try to do something about it.
Challenging me is fine (not that it makes me less suspicious) but try to bring some other players in too.

I've tried doing that by pressurizing people on Day 1 in previous games I've played to get some discussion going on and that always ends up in people getting against me and lynching me rather.

Day one is just to get us off. We shouldn't hammer anyone as we don't have any clues. We might be able to get something going on tomorrow by doing analysis on our targets and even reports. :spy

It all depends on what "you feel". You could be wrong at times or right at times, you aren't going to make correct decisions every time and that could favor the mafias more rather than the townies.

I'm not sure what to make of the game so far.

Interesting claim from Colin to say the least.

Ahh well governor IS an un-cc'able role, so the claim should be legitimate. Ruth Martin as a SK? I don't see that happening.

Can't he change the character according to his fake claim?(Just pointing out the possibility, I'm in a state of not accepting it now. Might be true)

What on Earth does it being an un-CCable role have anything to do with the credibility of the claim?

Fake role claims and fake character claims are easily possible, so I'm not sure why you're so quick to subtly go by Colin's side.

I definitely get things wrong but I've also been in games where newbies are tricked by experienced mafia into hammering or setting up a hammer at the wrong moment. I think my role is actually a pretty powerful one for town as it stops mafia quick-hammers.
I did consider keeping it secret and preventing what I thought was a quick-hammer lynch so we could go after a suspected mafia but in a small game it seemed more useful to get it out there.

I think the point he's making is that the role and character claim fit together. Senator = governor.

I know you're inexperienced but can you see how this post basically says:
"let's waste day 1 and make sure we don't find anything out"?

No discussion on day 1 only benefits the mafia.

Except Sulaiman no one can be considered as a newbie here, all have played over 5-6 games. Most experienced would be you and Don. You're already on our side(maybe?) and I don't think Don can standalone manipulate the town considering he's a mafia.

I agree there, way too early to accept the claim.

If I'm not wrong the Governor can save himself by getting lynched for once, why not lynch Colin and see if he can save himself. Well that'd clear us on him at least/

Newbie refers to how you play rather than how many games you've played... ;)

I will reserve judgement.

Firstly it would be a total waste of the role and secondly I can't and I've never seen a governor variation where they can...

"Governors have been known to be able to self-target, but only if they are X-Shot."
Here's the source.

----------

I'm not sure what does that exactly mean, I maybe wrong.

Like I said I've never seen one in a game where the role is used.

----------

Think about it. If it was 1 shot and you could save yourself why would you ever bother saving anyone else? That variation would change the role completely.
Anyway long story short. I can't.

My bad then, sorry.
