The Simpsons Mafia - Game Over : TOWN WIN > Player Reviews

The Title is wrong, it should be D2 posted. BTW, when is the update coming?

Night 2

NIGHT 2 ? LESS CONFUSION... LESS ACTION

The day had caused confusion for the Mafia, but maybe the Night could give them luck?
~
The clever little girl had been watching the action for quite some time know; she had identified everyone, and picked out her target wisely. It was the fat, doughnut munching, man in blue, who not only wore a blue shirt, but also blue pants and even a blue hat. She walked around the house searching for him, but he was nowhere to be seen, as if he didn?t have a duty tonight? So she went into his room, and there he was, sleeping with his mouth open, doughnuts in both hands. What a fatass!
~
The town had identified his role, and they knew he loved creating confusion, but he always knew what he was doing, there wasn?t any confusion in it for him... or was there? He was Springfield?s (only?) main bus driver, school bus driver... that is. He?d planned his swap tonight, what a crazy idea he had he thought to himself! SO CRAZYYYYYYYYYY!!! AHahahashasdhahahahahaha!! He decided to check on his targets, but they were nowhere to be seen, so he went in the last place he?d thought he?d find them... WTF! They were fast asleep, both of them... but WHY!!
~
The dark doctor approached his target and saw him crying on the ground...
?Why, what?s the matter here??
?They?re sleeping!! Both of em!! It?s so not cool dude!?
?Well don?t worry, i?ll keep you company?
?It?s not about the company!! It never is!?
?Okay then, i?ll just stand here?
~
Somewhere else.... they were planning their attack, the Don sent out his number 1 man, once again, his fat number 1 man, who ONLY wore a blue SHIRT. He walked the room, where was told he would find his target, however when he got there, al he saw was a young boy, fast asleep. He was told his target would be an Asian man.... wtf... he left confused, once AGAIN
~
The old man however, wasn?t going to leave if he found his target sleeping, but what were the chances of that? Surely his target had a duty tonight! So he went around searching for his fatass target, but he was nowhere around the house, so he went to his room and their he was, the fat man in blue, not only a blue shirt, but blue pants and even a blue hat?!?!?! He pulled out his suppressed CZ75 pistol and shot the fatty to death.
~
The townies found a dead man in the morning, one of them went and took the man?s ID, he was;
Mark!!

Chief Wiggum, Cop, Town Aligned

You are the town's trustworthy Cop, Chief Wiggum. Every night, you may investigate one person. You will get a pro-town or anti-town result which will be sent to you.
You win when the town win, if you stay alive until the end

THIS IS DAY 3, WITH 9 ALIVE, IT TAKES 5 FOR A LYNCH

Sad, we lost the cop, Mark. :(

Yep, we have two killers in this game. So I was right about my two doctor, two killer theory.
Probably Cult and Individually aligned. Mafia failed tonight to kill tonight.
We also apparently have two bus drivers in this game.
It also seems like we have a role blocker (all of them are sleeping).
But 3 people at the same time? I probably will have to re-read stuff again and understand the writeup.

What the hell! Everyone's asleep, the mafia miss the kill, and the individual/cult end up with the cop!
That's a bad loss for us.

I agree with Aray, there seem to be more than one bus driver. (Maybe there was a person who could copy someone's role, and he took the role of the bus driver). I think this explains the confusion, and why all the people are asleep.

The man in blue shirt is mafia, and I'll be going back to read the previous writeups for clues.

The bus driver(s) and the docs might have some clues as well, because, clearly, the mafia was either role-blocked, or targeted a protected member, or his target might have been swapped to attack a protected member.

Well, one thing is sure then Mark was a genuine cop not an insane one. And, he going against Abhas means he got him as an anti-town. And, he got this result on night 0 where no swapping was done.

I'm just going to vote off Abhas here. We got to believe the cop! Still can't get the clever little girl though. Also, mafia are being tremendously helped by that bastard old man (Burns), he's the one to have killed both people one mafia and one cop.

ARay, got to ask you few questions. You know you have pretended to give out your role in previous discussions. But, let me ask how was Abhas swapped with Yudi possibly? If that happened, when did it happen? On night 0 or night 1? On night 1, there was a swap mentioned in the writeup but Mark got the results on Abhas on night 0 itself as he went against him. I need some answers...

Lets get this started with some random votes shall we?
Vote: Abhas
He was mafia last game. Plus I just don't like him at all :p

This post at the beginning of the game was made in a not very serious manner but was good enough to deceive people. I've suspicions on you and Abhas being in the same group.

Anyways,

Lynch : Abhas.

Interesting.... Most of us thought that maybe Mark is mafia but he was the cop. So, the interesting part is that Mark lynched Abhas two times and both the times he didn't give a good reason to support his lynch. I am confused whether I should lynch Abhas or not. Mark being a cop and lynching Abhas two times makes me think that I should lynch Abhas but I'm still not sure.

What do you mean by most of us? I don't think that. I was pretty sure he was town aligned as he wouldn't go about things otherwise. And, lol at you wanting reasons still, now that Mark actually has been revealed. What are you not sure about Abhas?

It could just be the thing Mark got an otherwise result for two reasons -

1. Maybe was an insane cop. But, had he been insane it would have been revealed on his death. So, not this.

2. Because of swapping. But, I doubt there was any swapping done on night 0.

FOS : Aditya

Surely a strange post that.

It's just what I feel. Although Mark was cop I cannot straight away lynch Abhas because Mark lynched Abhas without any good reason. As you've lynched Abhas, I'll wait to see what Abhas replies to your lynch.

Well, I don't know what to say. Either it is you aren't understanding or you're a mafia trying to protect another mafia maybe... Mark was a cop, isn't that reason enough? What else reason he should give? If you get what I mean.

Yeah, maybe I am not able to understand or I am just too confused. :p I'll still wait for Abhas to reply. To be honest, I have been quite surprised with his activity in this mafia game. He is actually quite active in the mafia games he participates but he hasn't been active in this mafia game. Maybe, because he is busy with his life or maybe he is a mafia and he is trying to be silent. I made a blunder last time around by following Aray and lynching a townie (Yudi). I don't want to make the same mistake again. Mark was a cop and he lynched Abhas two times and that really makes me think that I should lynch Abhas.

NIGHT 0 ? Let the game begin!

The fat man in complete blue wasn?t the best the town?d ever had, but he was something alright. Walking along with his doughnut in hand, just what he did before he found his suspect. As he moved closer to the target, attempting to find out whom he really was, he heard something suspicious, and he knew he had found an evil soul. But there was a problem, he couldn?t see the face of this person, but he had a target right? So how could he go wrong? He knew who his target was, but was this person his target?
~
He was getting old, but still in charge of the business. He knew what was really going on here, he knew exactly, but a problem had occurred in his plans, someone had gone missing, and he had to be found! He?d seen a target in sight, but could this target be the one he was looking for? He walked towards the target and tapped him on the back;
?Hi!?
?Uh... it?s just me?
?Do you need something??
?No thanks?

Tonight wasn?t the night, he walked off, just as the sun began to rise.

This is the Night post by MaD.
Here, it is evident that the Cop's not sure that the person he has targeted is the same or not.

I want the bus-driver to testify my claim that I was swapped, and the cop got a mafia result.

Mark has always targeted me in games, throwing an FOS out of the blue. Even in some other game, where he wasn't even playing, he came and posted about me being Mafia.

It is obvious, because Mark was constantly FOSing me, any attack on him would make be the biggest suspect. The mafia has played smart here, by firstly getting rid of the cop, and in the process, making me the next target of the day lynch.
If I were mafia, why would I risk such a thing, knowing very well, having played numerous games, that I was going to under fire from the town, and the mafia.

User seems way too eager to lynch me. Was that the motive? Lead a lynch, and less experienced members might follow, and the fellow mafia would finish the job?

----------

To add to that, Mark lynched me two times, but he could have investigated me only once, because using the same role on the same person is not allowed on consecutive days.
His second lynch was only a follow up of the result he must have got on the first day.

I think I have hinted it enough and made it obvious about my role. So I guess I will role claim. I am the bus driver. Atleast one of them.
I probably think giving out my role information will make me a target, but I guess its better that I am clear about it. So that we we can focus finding mafia.

To answer your questions, I switched Abhas and Yudi the Night 0.
Mark investigated Abhas and found him anti-town (which explains him lynching Abhas). I knew I switched Yudi and Abhas. So I alone knew that Mark had actually investigated Yudi.
Night 1: I wanted to Ensure Mark wasn't a target of mafia. So I switched Mark and Yudi around. The reason being I reasonably sure if the cop had found Yudi anti-town, then it would be beneficial for the town if the mafia (if they target him, would end up targeting Yudi). Hence, it would help townies.
But that didn't happen. Which is why during the day I pushed for a Yudi lynch. I based it on Mark's investigation. What I really didn't go through my head was Mark might have investigated a miller.

If yudi had just mentioned the word miller, I would have backed off immediately. Which is why i was quite frustrated to find that Yudi was a miller and I sadly lead the lynch on an important double voting member.
As for your point about Abhas, he could still be mafia. My actions and analysis only prove that Yudi was anti-town but it does not let me know if Abhas is anti-town.
it could very well be that abhas is anti-town and all that I did do was switch anti-town with anti-town.
I will probably be re-reading the thread to understand some of the discussions made by some people. I will also go over some of the write ups.
