Story The story of a coach

Chanderpaul walks in with a smile flashed across his face.. he had won the toss. Gayle and Ganga immediatly padded up, and before I knew it Gayle was out there taking guard. It had begun, the atmostphere was intense and my nerves were uncontrollable.
The first ball was a no ball, which Chris launched into, edging it through gully. However, that over was not a good start at Gayle was lucky to survive his second ball, very lucky.

I looked across the balcony and the players looked dis-heartened. The South African fans were in full voice, ours, however, were silent. Ganga was up to face his first over of this war, I put my head in my hands and waited for the cheering of a wicket.

(sorry for the mis-spelling of 'nxt' in the image!

cheers for the kind comments lads, update will be done by tonight

This is crap, C Gayle is struggling and with a player like Ganga, West Indies may lose both openers fast.

That sound, however, did not come. Instead there was a light ripple of applause. I sighed with relief as Ganga had knocked a single down to fine leg to get off the mark. The scoreboard was kept ticking and I started to relax a little more. My nerves started to ease as Gayle launched into a cover drive, watching the ball sail and blitzing into the fence.
Feeling a little parched, I took out my John Smiths and began to lay back and enjoy the sun. I looked around. Drums were being hit every 5 seconds, the south african girls were looking dreamy, and were impossible to keep your eyes off. I was in a trance.. just staring at their tanned, crisp and smooth bodies......

'BOSS'.
I arose as quick as a flash. It was Lara.
'Gayles gone.. LBW, fu**ing ridiculous. I'll teach 'em boss, I'll do you proud Boss.'

I nodded yet I felt depleted. I looked up at the scoreboard; 15-1.
I bit my nailes, ripping the dry skin to shreds, and nearly taking the skin beneath with it. I slid on my sunglasses, looked in the reflection of the window and styled my hair. I gave a cheesy grin to a West Indian fan, a girl of about 20. This was the way to deter my anguish of a collapse.

Under that roof was all my love; cricket, women and my army, all encapsulated in the battleground.

With Lara there Windies should be safe although as our West Indian reporter above me pointed out, I don't trust Ganga at the crease :p

yeah Ganga, is really to overrated for me .
Have no Talent in international when get the position, always fail.
But hope he can save West Indies after a big blow of the wicket of C Gayle.

There was a huge reception for Lara, the Number three, the Great. In the stand there was a poster dedicated to the master, held by some hardcore fans..

Lara flicked a single off his legs. There was a cheer around the ground- Lara was off. He layed into a cover drive, dreamily hitting it into the fence. As time went on, Lara started to find his feet, playing glorious shots around the park.

Even Ganga started to show his talent. The South African bowlers were straying off line due to the Left- Right hand combination. Ganga would prod the ball on the leg side, while Lara played flamboyant cover drives.

I slipped a chewing gum out of its wrapper, slid it into my mouth, and chewed. The 50 came up due to a blitz off Lara. He had 27 runs off 25 balls.

Chanderpaul was getting increasingly nervous, expecting Lara to falter at any given moment. His fears were confirmed as Lara lazily played a leg glance straight into Square legs hands. My jaw dropped, eyes closed, gum falls out.

Mortons confident look drifted away, Collymores nodding turned into the shaking of his head, and Samuels cool expression seemed a little more dented. Chanderpaul rose, everyone turned to face him. I gave him a forced wink, clenched my fist and urged him on.
'Do it for Brian.'

good to see Ganga batting good,
I feel sorry for my 2 favorite batsman out so fast.
but here comes the Tiger.
