We can tell you that Caroni Plains CC won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a touch on the green side. All the seam bowlers have been out there rubbing their hands..

Random Update!!!
Some tight bowling has restricted them well. However, there was an annoying partnership between Whiting (34 off55 balls) and Elliott (32 off 57 balls) worth 74 runs. Atkinson, Drayton and Crouch have all picked up a wicket, with one runout. Debutant Unsworth has bowled well so far-returning figures of 5-1-7-0 before being taken off the attack.

Unsworth 5-1-7-0

Unsworth has been in for some rough treatment-his last 3 overs going for 21 runs. Myall being particularly severe on the bowlers, socring at a blazing pace. However, Drayt has picked up a couple more wickets-bowling Jenny by a stunning yorker, and getting Noris to drag one back in.

End of Innings Update!!!
A poor performance by us, I feel. Conceiving 136 runs in the last 18 overs! Still, it isn't too large a total, and hopefully we should chase it down fairly easily. Unsworth was the real villian-his last 5 overs being hammered for 42 runs! To top it off, he went wicketless. However, spin wasn't going to be of much effect on a seaming wicket like this. Atkinson grabbed the only wicket to fall in the last 11 overs-Myall clean bowled after an amazing 57 off just 47 balls, the fifty coming up in 37 deliveries!!

Unsworth will be given another shot, for three reasons:
1) The pitch wasn't suited to spin as it is(their spinner Guinan went at 5 an over too).
2) He is a better bat than Leo and Gamble, and is as good a bowler
3) He is my only spinner as it is

You losing? Nah, I was just lucky. You clobbered Deane(although he started well), and Atkinson and Drayton are very good bowlers as it is. Crouch isn't doing much, and Unsworth took two wickets-lucky for me.
