Styris and Hamish consolidate!

After the Blignaut strike, Scott Styris settled well into his stride and took to punishing the bowlers for any loose deliveries. Hamish Marshall was giving him excellent support at the other end.

Kelly and Styris push on..

After the Heath Streak induced strike, David Kelly caught on with some unfinished business as he cut the Mashonaland skipper for a first ball 4. He then proceeded to drive the debutant Barrett through the covers for his second boundary.

Styris at the other end, was collecting runs as they came and the pick of the phase was his nonchalant flick off Streak.

At the end of 30 overs, The Northern Districts are 163/4.
