The world's most Overrated and Underrated INTL cricketers

Well Dravid is Under Rated mostly because of his style of batting only true cricket lovers understand the importance of his place in the team. He has proved on many occasions what he is for the team, but still one bad performance and talks about his retirement starts. As for Sachin his average series against NZ wont matter much to fans. He has that extra cushion which the other greats like him don't.

No body underrates him though. He may have a boring style but he does the business.

Ian Chappell underrates Dravid, and has started Dravid bashing again on cricinfo due to the fact he doesn't bat like Sehwag, and wants him dropped for Pujara based on the strength of one innings, but who listens to that guy anyway, no one takes him seriously, nor his failure of a brother.
Sorry Ian, but we can't all compulsively hook our way to an average of 37.

Lol tony grieg underrates sachin. During the recently concluded SL-Ind test series (1-1) when sachin got a hundred , this was his comment and that deserves a huge rofl : " I think Sachin tendulkar is probably the best batsmen in India " :lol:lol

While Dravid is still a serviceable batsman, he's a long way from his peak in 2002-2005. At his best, he was arguably the best or second best batsman in the world, but in the last four years he has been pretty abysmal against top pace attacks. The question that many ask is simply what is the point of going further. His lengthy career hardly needs finishing touches. While he's the same age as Tendulkar, he'll always be some ways behind in terms of records. India don't use him for ODIs and they aren't lacking in depth for Tests either. It's not just Pujara. Rahane and Kohli both average over 60 in first class cricket. Virat Kohli can certainly play. There are plenty more were they came from, but it seems as though they'll all be old men before they get a shot at a Test.

aah this gareth hopkins is seriously overrated by the selectors. Wtf is he when it comes to batting ?? And also what is so good in him to be auckland captain ?? Some sort of conspiracy or what ?? What a waste of slot in the NZL team due to this guy :facepalm
I would rather play de boorder of Otago

Shane Warne was overrated.Indians are obviously the best players of spin bowling. He was poor against Indians in both forms of the game.Ajantha Mendis is also overrated. He did bamboozle India, but got no clue about what to do when batsman start to attack him.Finn from ENG.Umar Akmal from PAK.

Dravid & Laxman are underrated. They perform in crunch situations but Tendulkar gets all the glory.Angelo Mathews was bit underrated.I don't think he will be anymore after that knock at MCG.Chanderpaul is another.Plays under pressure most times.Same case with Andy Flower.

Finn from ENG

Who is Finn overrated by? I haven't seen many people jumping on a bandwagon saying he's the best thing since sliced bread. Hell there were quite a few people calling for Tremlett to get ahead of him for the Ashes series.

Some big cricket fans overrate him.Now it will be more after those 6 wickets.

I've barely seen anyone talk about Finn tbh, even after the six for.
That's your side of the story bro.I've met some big cricket fans who think of him highly. Not just me couple of other members have named Finn in their overrated list. They too might have a reason to post that.People who are considered as experts certainly don't overrate him.I can agree to that.
