The world's most Overrated and Underrated INTL cricketers

And this guy chamara kapugedera ... has he got anything at all to make the SL starting 11 ?? His only highlight wearing the lankan jersey came when he hit the winning 6 against india @ ST. Lucia when Lanka required 3 of the last ball .I dont know why SL selectors put this much faith on a thoroughly useless player :facepalm

As an England fan , i clearly do feel Luke Wright is overrated. Dont know how he fits in the 50 overs setup let alone 20 over cricket (even in t20s , mightily inconsistent). Now he is one among the 21 players having the highest base price leading into the IPL 4 auctions .

Kapu is just someone SL identified as having the potential to play international cricket but as, SL's domestic comp is of a significantly lower standard than most other nations, (club cricket is the main domestic cricket there, with very brief comps where teams are organised into much stronger districts) most young players tend to get blooded in the international arena before they are anywhere near ready to play at that level.

his averages are climbing year by year. It's just that, as a 23 year old international (or 20 when he first emerged) people may have the impression that this is because he is some sort of prodigious talent, it's not, just they reckon he'll be up to standard with a few years experience and full time coaching (far fewer full time pro-contracts in SL as well)

Underrated...Hauritz...what the hell does he have to do to get picked again?
He's scoring hundreds, scoring 50's, taking 5 fors.
A test bowling average of 34 is nothing to be sneezed at, how many other spinners in world cricket average better? Not many.
Poor guy was dropped because he is not Shane Warne and because Ponting is an idiot.

underrated-Alistair Cook, before this current ashes series all you would hear about Cook is about how his place is in danger, technical issues,etc...

only one player has scored more test 100s before the age of 26 than Cook, one S Tendulkar

Gotto accept Ritzy is underrated . Played beautifully tonight against the Bushrangers . His batting technique has improved massively and he is bowling much better ever since his axe . Got to feel for him really . Warne protested against his axe countless times . He is a good supporter of ritzy

And anyone remembers the name Bradley Hodge ?? yeah he has just been named in the 30 men probables but do you guys think he will make the final 15 ?? Not a chance . Definitely Aussie's most underrated cricketer to me

Hello wake up mate . de Villiers being branded an over rated fellow is one of the more laughable things i have heard with respect to cricket . I would hardly call a guy who smashed 2 centuries each in the sub continent , carribean & zimbabwe within the space of 4 months followed by a brilliant ton against india recently at centurion and the number one ODI batsman an over rated cricketer What else do you expect of him now ??

Devillier is a wee bit underrated tbh. Its very unfair to say such a thing but then again everyone is entitled to their opinion.
