This bar stuck on my screen.

I have this bar stuck on my screen and I don't know how to get rid of it. Is anyone able to help me?

Right click on the task bar and uncheck lock the task bar and you should be able to make it smaller by dragging on the circled bit

I can't drag anything. It's unlocked in the pic I gave you. That little thing in the midle covers up my whole taskbar now. And it doesn't show the programs im using anymore.

The taskbar looks locked in that pic to me, unlock it and drag your taskbar so its bigger, then take another picture if it shows more detail.

Also right click on a spare part of the toolbar (anywhere will do, try near the clock or near the windows start icon) and go to toolbars, see whats clicked.

i think i had a similar problem to that before but forgot how to get rid of it. im pretty sure i contacted a electronic/comp specalist and they got rid of it for me

I've had this problem before and they said it wasn't a virus. They gave me this program which got rid of hit. But they put it on my school harddrive and I can't access the school website for some reason.

And my toolbar is locked.

It's not a virus, somehow you've added something to the taskbar, I can't tell what it is from the pics though. Can you right click it? Also close all applications then take a picture of the processes running in task manager.

For those that wanted to know what the problem is, here it is. It is a thing for my laptop where I can write with the pen. Also, whenever I hover over this thing in the middle, it goes blue.

Nice posh onscreen keyboard! Much nicer than the standard one. Looks like you have a settings icon (the cog) I guess you can set something in there that says something along the lines of "run when windows starts"

No, I can't right click on it. it just takes me to those options. With toolbars, lock the toolbar etc.

Here are the processes. There are heaps, and I have no idea what's what and what I need and what I don't need.

What's the cog?

Oh, by the way. This isn't Vista. That's just a vista transformation pack to make it look like Vista. I have XP.

The cog, is the icon below the red X.

My guess would be that its keyboardsurrogate. Its an application for a tablet pc for starters.

Just settings for the program.

On the processes, how do I know what stuff I want and don't want? I'm worried I'd delete something I need.
