This forum is dieing

Interest in vbookie also has picked up with the WC and it was pretty lively during the Ashes.

Like Matt was saying there will always be people predicting end of days, no matter what period of time we are in.

Add more games to the arcade. That'll keep some people off for a while.

I've never been into the arcade before...

We're doing ok considering the dire state of cricket-gaming releases especially patchable ones. Nothing for 4 years now from EA and console only from Codies.

The demographic point is the accurate one. You had a huge bunch of people from my days and most of them have gone or become fairly inactive, myself included. Uni, work, a social life, does that to you :( I did though lose interest in the cricket discussion, because basically threads start getting recycled with different names, with different members making the same points.

I'm with Colin, once you guys get a new cricket game things will perk up, unless it is FIFA though I don't really play games that much anymore

This forum has decreased activity but it will never die. Cricket League and ICC World Cup 2011 section has really seen nice boost in activity.

After the Subcontinent issue was solved I think everything is fine.

It was solved?

I'd say it was more like putting a Band Aid on a hemorrhaging artery.

It wasn't solved completely, but steps were taken towards finding some more 'common' ground if you see where i'm coming from.

The Cricket Leagues forum has seen a bit of a boost in activity, however i'm wondering how much this is because of bcvs bringing WPL back for Season 6 and the amount of new members randomly starting leagues and joining leagues and going inactive after a few weeks.

The World Cup is soon upon us, so that will provide a good discussion point. Especially, since the tournament is wide open.

I think we found a fairly decent solution, you'll never satisfy all parties involved, especially when a society like this has such a wide range of ethnicities, religions and languages.

We've been clamping down on text talk and illegible language and that has improved, and I've noticed significant improvements in various members.

As Colin says, given the lack of games to provide downloads for (a long term issue I fear), we're doing okay. People will come and go, unfortunately that does involve good members, but all forums are like that, peoples wants and needs change, if we can meet change in demand, then we will attempt to.
