This forum is dieing

But if people dont want to improve their grammar theirselves, then how will be a hypocrisy? it is for the betterment of the forum to us auto mods

Theirselves, no capital starting letter, us instead of use.

If do put auto-mod, a meaning of a sentence could change. An answer can become a sarcastic statement, which would put the user under big trouble.

That's what I said earlier, the biggest draw-back such a mod would have.

For example, if someone posts about an Hindi music album in the Hindi Music Thread, the mod wouldn't detect the Hindi words and would change that. I am pretty sure that it will change 'Tera suroor' to 'Tear suroor'.

One way to tackle this is to code the mod in such a way that it doesn't attempt to correct the words in the italics tag. When people write something in a language other than English, it should be in italics. This will actually help the posts having non-English stuff to become more presentable as people will have to put text of any other language in italics.

By auto correct I mean a few general words you peeps. Don't take that far, it's silly. As if the whole system of english is to be changed, it's just to grab some sense off txt spk people use so it decodes a phrase and makes it understandable. Bearing that fact, it could be put into use for select forums like the C07 for example. Most new comers come solely for it and have nothing to do with the forums.

Anyways, seems off topic. These stuff better be in the improvements thread now.

On a note, all non-english words or misspelled words are underlined with red, so members could just refer to that. Same could be done for grammar.

Going on the basis they have a dictionary installed in their browser.

Maybe PlanetCricket should open a school in India and graduates will be allowed to register on the forum
