This forum is dieing

If they weren't needed for the hits I'd say this would be a far better forum without the majority of it's posters :spy

Colin's should have made Mark admin to get rid of some members.

I fully appreciate that they need the advertising hits to keep the site funded, so the site will really benefit from two new games coming out. What will really help the site is of course if both games are fairly open to modding so that they can return to being a vital source for all cricket gaming fans :) Difficult to keep some of the users when the only thing new released is Cricket 07 gameplay patch 4,327. I mean seriously, how many times can you polish a turd?

This is just a phase and I believe the forum will return to its active best in coming days. By the way, talking about activity, why aren't any of the members of PC Writing team barring Baggy Blogger writers (Sylvester etc.) and Angy writing any articles? There are some members who have been in the 'PC Writing Team' for almost a year now but haven't written more than an article or two. This is too inactive to be ruled as a reason of their 'busy real life'.

I'll be honest, I was mostly meant to be editing existing articles but I don't know how the system they use works :p Which is a shame, as most of them have fairly obvious mistakes in them!

I am actually writing something, it's just taking a while and is more abstract than reporting. Also due to work and the time of a lot of English cricket recently I haven't actually been able to watch enough of it to provide detailed reports.

I don't know about others but I always write (when I do write) articles without any prior thoughts. I just get the stats and facts ready, frame the article in my mind and pen in down. So, when a lot of thoughts are running through my mind, I tend to make silly mistakes while writing which on most occasions you are unlikely to make. As far as system is concerned, its pretty easy. We just need to post an article on a wordpress blog(you would be have a wordpress account for the PC blog on wordpress) and the staff or members specially recruited for the purpose will check the articles for any mistakes/plagiarism and if they find all clear, they will publish it on the site.

Thats absolutely fine. I thought 'PC Writing Team' is all about writing articles. We didn't special non-staff members to review our articles which was the reason behind that thought. My post was more out of frustration because I know some members who are in the team have no idea what to write about (they have admitted themselves). Other reason was that the admins of baggy blogger blog and Angy (the most active members of PC Writing team) write articles mostly on Australia so there is no real variety and things become quite boring after a while for a non-Aussie like me though I have keen interest in reading new things about cricket world over. If you ask me, I would like to read about yesteryears' cricketers, about ongoing leagues and upcoming players from world over and completely out of the box articles.

I wish I had not copied those 2-3 sentences from wikipedia...
