This is it - Ashes Cricket (Beta Feedback)

I doubt they re-did all the James Taylor voice lines so those ones are probably the same, maybe with a few new ones added.

New commentators have new lines I assume.

Hi There!

I've been reading to all the posts from past hour :P
This topic is discussed and answered before but I'm quite not able to put this one straight.

Please correct me if I'm wrong (especially text in red):
  • First day, the only teams which will have correct rosters (Names, stats and visuals) are Australia and England.
  • The cricket academy has been made public to a few people who are currently working on rest of the teams?
  • On day one, there will be some sort of unlicensed teams which we will be able to download via academy with decent visuals and correct names / stats?
  • The cricket academy will be made public to all in upcoming time (hopefully soon) for more content?
  • There will be a patch one on the first day to fix some minors that we noticed by watching the game-play videos.
I've been a fan of this series and I've bought DBC14 and 17 on day one. I'm looking forward for this game and will do the same. :)

Big thanks to Big Ant Studio and the hard working team. I'm so glad now we have good cricket video games thanks to the Big Ant Team!

Well it doesn't make any sense to blatantly say incorrect when there is proof there. In Wealey and gkarma's videos many of the commentary lines were mostly the same. I think that's what us fans have been looking forward to. Commentary needs to be aligning well with the gameplay and some variety in the commentary. Instead of "played for a single" , make it better by being more descriptive "punches that through to extra cover" or "lays into a gentle push to extra cover for just a single". I have played both DBC 14 and 17, while the commentators in 17 sounding as interested as much as a carrot, 14 was better in that aspect as commentators were more enthusiastic but phrases were damn repetitive. It still managed to play great with the gameplay. Slater sounds entertaining as well as Mel Jones, but I have to say James Taylor is the real one who sounds boring AF. Looking forward to the final product though. :yes

Arent James Taylor voice lines under DBC/Tru Blu Ent. copyright?

I could be wrong but I thought it was just the Don Bradman brand name that was retained by Tru Blu? Game assets etc. seem to still be owned by Big Ant. Otherwise wouldn't they have had to remake the entire game from scratch?
