Unfortunately there was a huge flaw with BLIC99.. Unless I am mistaken it was just as easy to hit 50 with Mullally as it was with Tendulkar. There were no attributes that actually made a difference to any of the batsmen, the average on the screen was just for cosmetic purposes. This turned anotherwise perfect game into a very flawed one in my opinion..

I am not sure but I think that a few players played certain shots better than others. For example Moin Khan connected slog sweep much better than Ijaz Ahmed. Or may be it was all psychological.

Wondering if you could install BLIC99 in windows 7?

No you can't, I tried it, don't think it even runs on high end PC's period!!

BLIC 05 does not run on Windows 7 either!

It works, I installed it last year on my old laptop. You can google for the instructions.

I think this may have finally lost its crown to a well-modded cricket 07, but it captured the atmosphere and intricacies of the game so well considering the tech available.

Not for me. Modders could do what they want with Cricket 07 but the player models were so bad (shared with EA's Rugby games) that nothing would have made it feel like cricket for me.
