My top 5
1. Sir Richard Hadlee: first bowler to 400 wkts, and if NZL played more tests during the late 70's, 80's and early 90's. He would no doubt have gotten to 600plus. Only bowler apart from Shane Warne that was take wickets on any type of surface.
2. Shane Warne: Love him or hate him, he is no doubt the best leg spinner ever, still got a few years left in him so no doubt will add more wkt's to his tally.
3. Kapil Dev: Don't know much about him but he was a part of the era of the all rounders in the 80's (dev, hadlee, botham, khan) finally beat hadlee's record of wkt's took him a lot longer to do so.
4: Ian Botham: A great all rounder, can win test matches on his own with either the bat or the ball.
5: Imran Khan: Don't know much about him, but again able to both bat and bowl, claims the world cup was his, not pakistans.
Might not be inline with other peoples views, but I can't see why Sir Richard Hadlee isn;'t in the top 5, considering that he was good to watch, so smooth, classic run up, and able to as i said take wickets on any surface. He had no need to bowl real fast as he was able to make that ball swing, nor short pitch bowling.
