Tottenham Hotspur sack everyone and employ Redknapp

Sounds like portsmouth needed the compensation. Think about how badly they cocked up the whole berbatov deal now. They delayed it till the last hours to get 7m more, because of that they had no time to spend the money and get a decent replacement. They paid ramos £15m to terminate his contract and portsmouth for £5m. Now they look a bit silly.

It's stupid no doubt although I thought they signed Pavlyuchenko thinking that they would be losing Berbatov eventually. But Levy is a crazy man.

Do you really have to jump on the evofan rampage against spurs? Seems like evo is hailed asthe reincarnation of kevin keegan round here. Get your own opinions its pathetic reading all the same posts over and over.

I do have my own opinion, I don't hate Spurs, but I don't like them, they always seem to beat Everton, and most of their fans are incredibly dillusional. They claim they'll make a title challenge every year, I bet a portion of Spurs fans still believe that they'll form a title challenge. I enjoy watching a team like Tottenham do badly, it's funny seeing Newcastle self-destruct as well. I don't hate Spurs, and if you actually focused on what I'd typed in the post, and not just the title you'd have realised that I don't hate Spurs.

I hope for Spurs sake they don't employ a new Director of Football. The role just doesn't work in England. The better clubs in England allow the manager to make the decisions on who they buy and sell. The manager should be the one who makes the key decisions, not a director of football. If they allow Harry to buy who he wants they'll start getting some good results, they've got a heck of alot of potential, just need to cut down on the ridiculous numbers of Attacking Midfielders.

I always found it utterly ridiculous how Ramos letting go like 56 players was hailed 'The Ramos Revolution'

I can't really work out why he's left Pompey for Spurs tbh. I know he'll be back in London and thats where he spent most of his life, but he's got a home on the South Coast that his family love, and he's build something at Portsmouth. He's built a team around finding some good unkowns and sensible spending. Seems a bit wierd to up and leave it now, but I suppose Spurs will be paying him a ton.

Diarra, Defoe, Johnson, Krankjar and a few others will probably be heading to Spurs in January I'd imagine.

and They'd all be good signings. Diarra's exactly what they need in midfield, Defoe and Pavlyuchenko could form a great partnership, Johnson's a cracking right back and probably better than Hutton and Kranjcar is a very talented player, not sure they need anymore attacking midfielders though tbh.

Benjani would be a good signing hes been on fire this season.

Gah, I knew there'd be an annoying period of the season when Lolspurs actually got good again. It's a shame really. Redknapp's a quality manager but he's never really been at a big club before so it's not a dead-cert that he'll do well with Spurs. I love 'arry, but I hope he fails miserably so the league can be rid of Tottenham. What an awful team and what an awful set of fans.

Redknapp to Spurs = good move. I can see him doing really well there, I've always admired old 'arry as a manager.

I think they'll end up in Europe come the end of the season. They do have the makings of a fantastic footballing side, but they seriously lack a fierce competitor in the midfield who will get stuck in. I'm sure 'arry will sort that out in January. He'll probably sign Diarra.

But for the sake of laughing at Spurs, here's the latest joke I read today. It's not the best, but it's still a joke like;

What's the difference between McDonalds and Spurs?

McDonalds have had less managers.

What's Portsmouth gonna do now?

And if Defoe leaves then I'm supporting Tottenham...

I laugh at Spurs because they always think they're going to be good and then always fail. I don't hate hate them, but I do like making fun of them.
