Well Watson and McDonald would be in there for the batting, our selectors have a fair idea of what they can do with the ball plus bowling should be their secondary task. After the 2nd Test they probably feel we could use a more handy 5th bowling option than North. I don't think they are looking down the road of using McDonald as a bowler again, I hope anyway.

With Hussey trying to get back into form, the burden of wicketkeeping won't help. Would rather give the keeping duties to Hughes if we didn't play Haddin or Manou.

I'd play Manou ahead of Haddin.

Swap Manou for Haddin and Pup for Ponting. Pup might bat 3 in the future, at least get him used to it. Plus, led him lead the team.

As much as I think swapping Ponting and Clarke in the lineup would be a positive move, I doubt it will ever happen.

Clarke's also the only player to have scored a 50 in every match of the tour. If practice is needed, someone else can have his spot.
