you probably wont get 800k i bought a strogn spinner (which far better consistency, although stamina is less) for 500k so i dont think you will get 800k

Stamina is much much more important for batsmen than for bowlers, especially spinners. Even bowlers with woeful stamina get wickets but if you want hundreds then the stamina has to be atleast mediocre for batsmen. Unless you're in a poor league or the guy's got a good primary. I'm optimistic that he'll sell.

Bowlers become crap later on if they have low stamina. So they cost more runs. I feel stamina is important for bowlers, as all you need are 2-3 batsmen with good stamina, and the rest can slog quick 20-30s around them. Atleast in OD games. In FC games, anyone with stamina below Competent won't do well at all...

Your end-of innings bowlers need atleast mediocre stamina (Considering they aren't expected to bat afterwards). 10 overs bowling, then 30 in the field before returning. means that you can concede bucket loads of runs at the end of the innings...

So how much did you get him for Briggs? He is a very useful player, but I don't suppose he can be trained. I'm still training my 20 yr old bowler though, Barker, as he's perilously close to popping to superb !!
