Transfer Thread

do not give him 5 bowling nets, 3 maximum

For example, if you allocate Botham to two batting sessions, he will get the full benefit from the first session, but due to the amount of work he has already done in that session, the amount he can possibly gain from the second session is much less. If he was allocated to a third batting session, he would receive again even less training. A fourth training session would only provide negligible benefit

so the 4th net has a very small effect, so a 5th would be virtually useless

Ok, now I'm selling a player.

Niall Dugdale - 23 yo, BT Rating=3,513 [transfer listed]
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, worthless batting form, proficient bowling form, sublime
A destructive player with feeble leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: abysmal

He is a good player, up for ?0. Would be good for a new team.

What about 10 :p I'd love to try that someday, put 10 batting nets on one guy and see what happens :p

&GN, hes not really good for an awful lot. Yeah, staminas alright, and battings decent but lacks in secondaries. Thats gonna drag his performance right down. Plus fielding is not too good, I know its not the end of the world, but newbies need better fielders.
anyway, can't blame you for selling ;)
you will probably get a bit of money for him, primaries are all the rage.

Already one bid on him. A bit late in the season for a trainee, don't expect him to go for more than 50K, but you never know...

Colin Cadmore (897440)

A defensive player with proficient leadership skills and woeful experience.

How much would a player like this sell for? He's averaging 68 with the bat and 18 with the ball for me.

I'd start him off at ?250,000, his secondaries aren't great and he's quite old, which will drag the price down.

Woah!! A mill easily, maybe two. Stamina holds him back a bit, and so does age.
You are Palab Tigers? Let me tell you, Clark Gibson is NOT a good buy. He has no stamina!! Don't bother to continue bidding for him. If someone out bids you, leave it at that and consider yourself lucky.
And hold onto Cadmore. his age won't help him sell for too much, would benefit you a lot more if he stayed with you.
