Turning WWE Around - Rumble Match Posted! (EWR)

Great show all 3 of the last shows.

this Benoit/Jericho feud is brilliant. Love the way they fight in words and then back themselves in the ring!

A lot of Titles there and special matches, just maybe cut down on those but i love the talk about feuds and the rumble.

Triple H is my bet for the rumble.

keep it up guys :clap

Well i thought it was very good especially the bit on Haas winning because htta was true, easily and i think that chris jericho has the best chance of winning the royal rumble:p

great work, i like the bit in the middle when JBL and Jim discuss the jericho benoit feud

Wrestling Online Report - The Royal Rumble

There are just 2 shows, Smackdown! and Velocity, until the Royal Rumble this Sunday. The main feature of this PPV is obviously the match sharing its name. Here are the entrants for this years Royal Rumble match:

Raw entrants:
1. John Cena
2. William Regal
3. Johnny Nitro
4. Rob Van Dam
5. The Boogeyman
6. Shelton Benjamin
7. Triple H
8. Shawn Michaels
9. Chris Jericho
10. Chuck Palumbo
11. Jamie Noble
12. Finlay
13. Batista
14. Charlie Haas

Smackdown! Entrants

2. Bobby Lashley
3. Super Crazy
4. Carlito
5. King Booker
6. The Undertaker
7. CM Punk
8. Paul London
9. Brian Kendrick
10. Umaga
11. Christian
The final 4 entrants are due to be confirmed in the final Smackdown! show. The favourites to take these positions are:
AJ Styles
Christopher Daniels
Sabu
Gregory Helms

As you can see, it should be a very good Royal Rumble this year with almost every entrant a talented wrestler.

Last year's winner was Rey Mysterio from Smackdown! which would lead us to believe that Raw would get this year's winner. This, of course, may not be the case.

In fact the current favourite to win the Rumble is Undertaker. He is coming close to retirement and has never won a rumble before. I wouldnt be surprised to see him win and go on to have one last title reign before he retires.

On the Raw side of things, the favourite is Shelton Benjamin. He has been recieving a big push in the Intercontinental title scene and could be ready and primed for a rumble win and then a WWE title run.

Other wrestlers at the forefront of the rumble are Triple H, Christian, Chris Jericho, Ken Kennedy and Charlie Haas. All could be getting that win right now.

So who do you think will be winning the rumble? Whatever happens, it should be a PPV to remember!

WWE Friday Night Smackdown!

MC: Good evening and welcome to the final Smackdown! before the Royal Rumble PPV! I am Michael Cole and I am alongside Jerry "The King" Lawler.

JL: We are so close to the Rumble! I'm so excited!

MC: Well tonight should be one action packed show as matches are booked for Sunday

JL: And that might start now, here comes our Cruiserweight champion CM Punk!

MC: Punk has looked good recently in his feud with Rey Mysterio. He obviously wants to address something to do with that.

Punk: I have been in a hard battle with Mysterio. We started off as respectful friends but that has all changed. He has become kniving and sneaky. Despite all he has done I still hold this belt and I want to end him once and for all at the Royal Rumble. Mysterio, I challenge you to a match at the Rumble, not just any match though. A ladder match!

JL: Ladders, Cole! Ladders!

MC: Oh my, what a challenge put out there by Punk!

JL: And here comes Mysterio into the ring!

Mysterio: If that belt is on the line, then I accept. You better be ready to hand it over!

Punk: Want to see more of the belt? Here!

MC: Hits Mysterio right on the nose! Huge shot with the belt!

JL: That'll leave a mark Cole!

Rating: 80%

MC: Here come our GM Chez along with Orton and Christian to put pen to paper on their match this Sunday!

JL: It will be one hell of a contest Cole!

Chez: Now, before we begin this contract signing I have another announcement effecting the Rumble. I can tell you that I have got Smackdown! the number 30 entry into the rumble match and it will be on the line tonight in a Rumble warm-up match! It will be a Four Way Over-The-Top-Rope Battle Royale between Super Crazy, Ken Kennedy, King Booker and The Undertaker! Now it is time to do this signing, Orton will sign first.

MC: Orton signs the contract for a 1 on 1 match at the Rumble

JL: And Christian puts pen to paper as well! Its confirmed!

MC: Yes, we will see Orton and Christian one on one at the Rumble!

JL: Orton wants to start early! He is after Christian!

MC: Vicious blows delivered by Orton! And an RKO, devastating for Christian!

JL: He isn't finished! Hes putting Christian up for the powerbomb! And straight down through the table!

MC: Orton has demolished Christian just days before the PPV!

MC: This PPV should be an awesome spectacle!

JL: No kidding! And of course the main feature is the Rumble match itself!

MC: Yes, 30 men enter but only 1 leaves! Eliminations occur only by being thrown over the top rope.

JL: And most importantly, the winner gets a shot at either the World Heavyweight Title or the WWE Title!

MC: So King, who is your favourite for the rumble?

JL: I know some people think Undertaker, and I can see why, but to me Christian looks strong to get the win.

MC: Well we will find out this Sunday at the Royal Rumble PPV! Be sure to tune in!

Rating: 89%

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

MC: Its time for the match to decide #30 entrant to the Rumble

MC: Now for some terrific Tag action, Styles and Daniels meet their fierce rivals, London and Kendrick, right now in a non-title match!

MC: Daniels takes the win on this one

JL: These 4 men really are going at one another

MC: Wait one sec King! It seems our GM has a word to say!

JL: Oh my god Cole!

MC: What a huge Rumble announcement that is! These teams will be after each other at the rumble!

I don't think the fight has finished. Orton \ Chavo and Christian \ Sabu have begun brawling again! They wind up brawling all the way down the aisle and out of view
