Yo Yo Yo Yo Yo.....

So here it is...the next BETA version of my patch.

Well u'll find much difference b/w this and the earlier BETA versions.

I think the features and bug-fixed thing have been discussed in the thread before so i won't like to mention them again over here.

This BETA patch is for NORMAL difficulty mode, for ODI(20, 50 overs) & TEST matches.

Use the CFG Editor by prakash to install the patch.

EDIT: Well for the last 1-2 matches i have using BOSS's Fields and they seem to work quite well with my patch too. So u can also try them with my patch.

dude but whats up with "NORMAL difficulty mode" why not hard?
 
played a few overs last night- the aussies are playing very well... run rates almost 4 an over..no edges so far but hayden and ponting are both at full confidence.. there were a few shots that they played and missed though. I am getting a lot of turn and bounce. They are now 71/1 with Hayden on 46 not out
 
the cpu hook to much instead of ducking and often miss judge bounce or edge it and they don't defend good balls in test matches very often so i have got a lot of lbw's cheaply(at a good length, not short with no power)

So I have bowled almost 50 overs with the patch now and aus are now 113/3 . The cpu is much more aggressive and tries to play more shots and has a wider variety as well.The reason for a slow run rate is because I had a very defensive field . I still havent had a single EDGE!!!!! I bowled 38 consecutive overs with kumble and harbhajan without a single edge. I did have two very satisfying dismissals though. One was a fantastic googly from kumble that spun way back in and went underneath pontings bat and bowled him. Hayden was out to a flipper that he tried to play a backfoot leg glance to and ended up getting lbw...
No edges with the fast bowlers either.....

BTW I would like to tell you guys that we patchers never ever set such values which will hamper the amount of edges. We keep them to a reasonable rate to make the game realistic. But as we all know that Cricket 2004 is full of bugs so most prob. b'coz of some bug WE do not get edges at all or very less edges. PLZ do not post requests stating that "Increase the amount of egdes" or complaints like "I do not get any edges using ur patch". I or WE(patchers) can never ever do such a thing. But because of the BUG we are helpless. We will have to live with it untill SAM or somebody else can fix it.

I hope all patchers agree with me and I hope that people who download my patch will understand as to what i'm trying to say.
