That was a great game, pity about the result.
India made all the running in that game and they fully deserved to win, Australia used up their Get out of Jail free card with a lucky D/L total. Turning point of the match though was idiot Tony Greig with Aus 1/150 with 12 overs left. "India can't win this match, Ganguly's only hope now is for rain" Immediately following that Australia's fragile middle order collapsed yet again.
And as for India "cheating", Australia's over rate was just as bad in the first innings, and this coming from the country that invented the underarm delivery.

Australia never invented underarm bowling...

there was no rule against underarm bowling in cricket other than in England.

but they changed the rule after that incident against New Zealand

Tony Greig is and idiot..channel nine should sack him, have you heard how many times he mumbles during his commentary...also when Rahul Dravid came out he was calling him an idiot and stupid for what he...it wasnt so long ago when he was commentating next to a cheat Shane Warne but you dont he him say anything about him.

About the 20 over mark Youvraj Singh collapsed from a sore hip or sumthin. He lied on the ground for about 5 mins. Then took about 10 mins to walk off the ground. Then with Kartik every second ball, Ganguly walked over to him to talk about field placements. There are a few other things which i cannot remember

What has that got to do with cheating ?
Aussies won bcoz they had o achieve the Ru rate for a shorter span of 15 - 20 overs
It is easier to score for a shorter period of time , as all of us know and as a matter of fact , INDIA PLAYED BETTER THAN THE AUSSIES Y`DAY and deserved to win but the heavens came to the rescue , reducing the target
I think that a tie wud have been a fair result
Moreover, we have to see the boring zim in action again for the next week

Australia have been out played all summer by the Indians and you hear the same old excuse by the Australians that they miss McGrath and Warne and that they are inexperienced but so are the Indians and India have bowled and fielded much better than them....and also thrashed the Aussies bowling around

if india have outplayed aus all summer y was the test series drawn and y r aus leading the vb series. i don't think the indians have been fielding better than aus. nehra and ganguly, need i say any more.

no fence if anything the dl helped ind aus requiree 5.97 and then they had to go at 6.65 at the end...in the end india didnt do wel at the pressure situantion...dl or no dl aus deserve to win

u r calling the dl a cheat now but think last march it could have saved india and made india the world champions

I thought that D/L would be an advantage to Australia because even though they required more than a run a ball it was only for a short period of time and they still had 9 wickets in hand..so i dont think that India should be all that disapointed on losing because it was a great effort to even get 8 wickets the way Australia were batting

I think Australia would've won it either way, coz they only needed 5.5 runs per over for about 40 overs without DL, with still 9 wickets in hand
