PC United face tough decision

After PC United FC Had to pull out of the Coca-cola league 1, after only 19 games, there was a major change in the back stage area.

The chairman Mankey2k8 confirmed that after negotiations with the FA, they have been allowed back into football on the condition that they can fill the 22 man squad.

However, in the past week, they have open application's from players to play in the new PC United squad who are rumoured to be starting in the Premiership, but in a dramatic twist of events, the FA Decided enough was enough and have given PC United until the 14th Aug 2008 to complete there 22 man squad, or there application will be refused.

PC United are in need of players, as they are still 5 defenders and 1 midfielder away from completing the squad. Manager Treva had this to say last week...

"Well, we thought we would be able to fill the team no problems, but that has failed, we have no 0 more applications to join, and we are still 6 players short, however, we have been contacted by a few Non league players stating that they would like to join the team, I am not saying no, but for a non league player to step into the premiership, its a big ask."

A few big name players have also stated they would like to leave there premiership and SPL Teams in order to join PC United.

Barry Ferguson of Rangers said this this week:

"Of course I would love to play in the EPL (Premiership) there have been many talking points about us (Rangers) and Celtic moving into the EPL, But it isn't going to happen, and to be honest, I would rather play with a team like PC United who are in the Premiership, it gives me a great chance to prove to myself that I am capable of playing in th Premiership. But, the problem is that Rangers really are not likely to let me leave, I have been told a transfer fee of around £30 Million would be needed to open negotiations for a contract, and no offence to PC United, but I don't think they can afford that."

Numerous other players have stated they would like to play for PC United, these include:

  • Shansuke Nakamura (Celtic)
  • David Bentley (Blackburn)
  • Sasa Papac (Rangers)
  • Carlos Cuellar (Rangers)
  • Stephen Warnock (Blackburn)
  • Wayne Bridge (Chelsea)
  • Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea)
  • Carlos Salcido (PSV)
  • Timothy Simmons (PSV)

However, with PC United only just starting, it is highly un-likely they will be able to aquire the service's of these players, but the FA have given them hope in releasing this comment:

"If PC United do not have the full allocation of 22 players before Midnight on August 14th 2008, we will be able to give them emergency loan deals, which will last for the entire season, we can not say who it will be, but clubs have already been informed who could be moving on loan to PC United, it is then up to the PC United Chairman and Manager to bring the needed players in before the end of the loan spells, if they are un-successful at that, then, I am afraid PC United will be expelled from the English Premiership"

So, PC United Chairman Maney2k8 and Manager Treva, can either attempt to bring in players that have stated they want to play for PC United, or they can leave it, and aquire emergency loans from the FA, But there is no certianty that the loan players will be that of Premiership quality...

We will have to wait and see what either Maney2k8 or Treva have to say on this matter.

UEFA step in and Silence the FA

In another Shock in this twisting tale of Rumours, Conflicts and controversy, UEFA have now stepped into the saga of PC United.

Just a few moments ago, this statement was released from UEFA cheif in command Darren Pickford:

"We are now going to be taking over this situation as the FA Seem to have lost all control, and PC United are getting away with murder. The FA Have said PC United have until August 14th to get a squad together, we have come to the conclusion that that is too long, so, therefore, we have decided that PC United's full 22 man team should be submitted to us no later than 10.00AM (GMT) on August the 8th. And, if they have not submitted a FULL team by then, the result is that we might have to look at handing them either a 20 or 30 Point's deduction, or the ultimate punishment which is expelling them from all leagues in England."

And within 30 minutes of this statement, the FA released there own comment:

"Well, we are completely annoyed with UEFA stepping in again when there is no need for them to, once again they are proving to Europe that they can not handle anything with a bit of controversy, we had it all under control, and with the help of FIFA, the punishment given was seen as addequite, but obviously, UEFA don't see it like that, they think they can go around changing decisions that don't need to be changed. We will be putting this forward to FIFA for a whole review of the case, We are sorry for any distress this is going to cause PC United, but for the time being they have to stop any preperations for the Premiership until the result of this case has been announced some time tomorrow."

Treva steps down as PC United manager

After the announcement that PC United would have to fill a full 22 man squad by the 8th August, manager treva has announced that he is stepping down as manager. Treva guided his team through 19 games of League 1 but has told the press he wishes to move away from the controversy related with the club.

"I enjoy my football, but being with PC United is not fun. All the controversy around the club is quite frankly pathetic. I do not wish to be a part of it anymore. I feel for the players who enjoy playing and have been stopped thanks to the FA. I may continue to manageif their are any decent offers on the table. I have had a few already but no decision has been made of yet."

PC United continue to plunder into the depths of controversy as they now need to appoint a new manager as well as fill a 22 ma squad. We will have more news as we get it....

PC United lose the Leader

Within the past few minutes, Sky Sports has been told that PC United Manager Treva has stepped down, this surely has to damage an all ready depleated PC United team, they now have to find a new manager, as well as fill a 22 man squad. Treva had this to say:

"I enjoy my football, but being with PC United is not fun. All the controversy around the club is quite frankly pathetic. I do not wish to be a part of it anymore. I feel for the players who enjoy playing and have been stopped thanks to the FA. I may continue to manageif their are any decent offers on the table. I have had a few already but no decision has been made of yet."

PC United continue to plunder into the depths of controversy as they now need to appoint a new manager as well as fill a 22 man squad.

Lee Sweetman the PC United midfielder has jumped to the defence of his ex-manager Treva. He released this " I think that UEFA and the FA Have to stop being a bunch of girls trying to upstage each other to show who is the most dominate, This has resulted in a talented manager deciding he wants nothing to do with it now, UEFA and the FA, grow up and stop taking pot shots at each other in order to gain control, you are wreaking the spirit of our team. Of course, Treva, we would like him to come back as a player, but we will have to wait and see what his decision is."

More stones were added to the fire as Blackburn midfielder David Bentley turned down there latest contract offer, this now means that at the moment Bentley could be a free agent on the 1st August, is he going to be the first player to jump up and help PC United?

More to follow....

Hornbuckle makes his claim

"It is sad that Treva has gone,he was great. But I would love to manage such a wonderful club. It would be a dream come true."

This comes as Treva quit his job earlier, stating it is not enjoyable anymore.
"I think it is a great thrill. I have confidence that PC get enough players."
