First of all you need to understand the different blending modes,like to make your render look more HQ the most basic technique is to duplicate your render layer go to filter>blur>gaussian blur then set the layers blending mode to overlay for even better result duplicate the render layer one more time and set its blending mode to color dodge with opacity 50% or less it depends on you how much light you want in your render,And for effects use 3d renders,textures and brushes which you can find by searching on google because readymade backgrounds doesn't look good and I will tell you some more tricks later as I myself learned them here as great GFX Makers like pranav,KBC,Viral etc works inspired me to work hard and make my works better and i really believe in these GFX makers as my well wishers so just ask me If you need anyhelp
