Watching County Cricket

Does anyone know of any sites that stream county cricket live? Seems that Sky is only interested in IPL and internationals these days.

Unfortunately the internet is probably your best bet, sites like Cricfree for example.
That's the one I use at least if I can't get to Lancashire to watch myself. ☺

Very rarely do counties stream their matches although Notts did stream the first two days of their match against Yorkshire.

They're not allowed to do so when Sky Sports are showing an England match:
First class counties retain the right to broadcast LV= County Championship matches from fixed cameras whenever Sky Sports, the ECB’s Broadcast Partner, are not broadcasting live ECB cricket.

Usually around this time of year Sky would show a Championship match, one of only two they show a season with other at the end of September. The England tour of West Indies, though, is so timed that there isn't one scheduled for Sky this April and it seems the next county cricket they will show will be the start of the Twenty20 Blast.

Cheers for your replies fellas, do any of the counties put up highlights? It appears that Hampshire don't and are more bothered about having Boyzone performing there, F***ing Boyzone!! It's an earner I guess and won't be as lairy as when Oasis played!

I've always found cricket highlights difficult to find.
But try their individual YouTube channels?

Hampshire actually put up replays instantly of every one of their wicket on their youtube channel and I believe an innings summary at the end of each of their batting innings.

I think you are mistaken, and possibly confused with Sussex as Hampshire have not uploaded any highlights at all this season. The last ones they put up were 8 months ago Vs Lancashire.

None have gone up during todays play, not entirely sure why that is.

Nice one, cheers, there was nothing like this when I last had a look. It's a damn shame and pretty poor form that you cannot watch live games though, in this day and age it would not take much to live stream them. I'd quite happily pay a subscription to be able to do so.

The ECB upload video highlights of every day of every County Championship match starting last year. You can get them on the ECB website or on the ECB app on mobile. They're all recorded from a single static camera at one end but it's a lot better than nothing.

This year, they've started sending an actual person to move the camera at one match each week, so you get a better view and can see some outfield catches this week it was Yorks vs Hants.

Also, the BBC do full audio commentary of every county match all summer. Hampshire's commentary is available on radio on 999am if you're in the Solent region or online at the BBC website or BBC Sport App on mobile.

I was a Hampshire member last year but I've now moved back to London so using the above methods to keep following them. The online radio commentary is particularly useful while at work.

Thanks for the link. If you want commentary, you can simultaneously open up the BBC radio commentary. The commentary seems a bit behind the video though, at least for me.
