In 2001, I helped operate the new electronic scoreboard at Headingley for the Ashes test on day one. I got to have lunch in the same room as the players, but couldn't talk to them.

One guess which player stayed longest for lunch, and ate the most :D

Waz is Dazza?

Yeah, I would have guess Warnie too. Freddie has done well to improve his fitness since that infamous chest-bearing incident in Mumbai.

Peter Crouch?

Oh wait...

Freddie obviously.

Flintoff made his Ashes debut in the recent 2005 Test Series, hence it could never have been him if it was in the Headingley test of the 2001 Ashes series.

I met Lakshmipathi Balaji at the start of a film shooting. The heroine of that movie kept on gawking at him.

Was it Mike Gatting? He was probably still tucking into his lunch from the 1983 series :D

That cracked me up.. Funny stuff

I've met most of the current aussie team, they have all been very nice. I think Stuey MacGill and Kerry O'Keefe were the best/funniest cricketers i've spoke to.
