A new Breed of Dog

The Western Bulldogs head into the 2008 with a very young list. One of the most exciting lists in the competition with the likes of Cooney, Cross, Griffen and Giansiracusa. They looked the goods at the end of the 2007 season, but with rewtierments to Chris Grant, and Brent Montgomery, things look tought for the Dogs ahead in 08.
The Dogs have recruited pretty well. Recruiting what they have been missing for a number of years. A decent ruckmen. They picked up big man from the Crows. Ben Hudson. The 29 year old has come back to Melbourne to finish off his veryshort AFL Career. Hudson debuted for the Crows in 2004, and now has found himself in the Dogs gurnsey 4 years later. It will be a good chance for Hudson to finish off his Career as the number 1 ruckmen in a team, as he would of been behind, Rhett Biglands this year at the Crows, with Biglands come back from injury.

The Bulldogs have also wanted a main Full Forward. Brad Johnson has had to fill that position for many years. Chris Grant was played up forward for the end of his career, but has mainly been a defender throughout his wonderful career. The Bulldogs have also picked up, Scott Welsh, also from the Crows. Welsh, 28, comes from the Crows to also finish his career in Melbourne. Welsh played with the Kangaroos at the start of his footy career, before heading to South Australia, and played some succesful seasons with the Adelaide Crows. Welsh comes to the Bulldogs, trying to help out their Forward line troubles.

Has the capability of being a leader, and is given his chance this year.

Another..... story. Please roo stick with one story this time. I want to see one go a long way. This looks good. Everything is set out well.

KUTGW!

Good luck for the Dogs in '08. They have a very talented midfield, one of the best in the competition, but their lack of big men was a problem last year when they finished 13th, but now with Hudson and Welsh they'll be hoping for good things.

Good luck with this Roo. Stick with it, I wanna see this go far!

Cats continue dominant way

Geelong has dominated the Opening Round 1 clash with the Western Bulldogs. Geelong had a 72 point thrashing of the Dogs. The 2007 Premiers have continued their 2007 form, and have won big in the opening round.
The Cats, started off pretty slowly, and saw a equal 1st quarter. Only 2 goals seperated the teams at Quarter time. Scott Welsh for the Dogs was good in the opening term, having 9 possesions and taking 5 marks. He looked at home in the Bulldogs colours.
The 2nd Quarter is where the game was won. The Cats added on 6 goals, to the Dogs only kicking the 1 goal for the Quarter. The last term was a blowout aswell. The Dogs only managing 3 goals for the term, the Cats pulled up 8 unanswered goals, to bring the margin out to 10 goals in the end.

It was a poor display from such a young team, and the coach wouldn't be happy with such a start.

Faulkner? he doesn't even play with us anymore!

I just had a look at the Team playing lists. And i have noticed that half the Bulldogs are missing. There are no new players what so ever. And it's the same with all the teams, so i wont be continuing this story.
