So from that

Pomersbach is unlucky they have decided to go a bowling all rounder at 7 else he would have been a shoe in. Rorher has deserved the call up, been consistent for 2 seasons now. Spin depth issue being shown up with no spinner picked in the side.
Odd that the selectors were willing to go back to Haddin, yet weren't willing to go back to Hogg - a man good enough to be in the World Cup squad 6 mths ago, and the best Aussie spinner in the Big Bash. Only other guy with reasonable numbers from big bash was Aaron O'Brien, he might have even fit as a bowling all-rounder. Ditto Steve O'Keefe, who while he didn't have a good BBL, he deserves some encouragement from the selectors I feel.
Oh and yeah Australia won last night...yawn
Nice to see Mitch Johnson ripping in at 145 and doing a bit with the new ball. He'll always have a supporter behind this desk
Ditto for Shane Watson, he had a couple of lives last night, but still his class is obvious. Compare him vs Finch and it's obvious who the more comfortable player is at this level. Makes the whole idea of domestic form seem silly: Finch was going great guns in Ryobi and BBL, Watto couldn't score in his club match or his one Ryobi match. Also reinforces the idea that Watson = opener. Take note selectors please - the top 4 in Aus cricket for the foreseeable future should be Watson, Warner, Hughes, Clarke. If Cowan, Marsh, Finch etc. want a go, learn to be a 5 or 6...
